Suzuka also stays on the calendar for a few more years. At least some good tracks keep being there

I like the new Williams visa blingedy bloo bull livery. For a start it's not white and grey.

The Cash App logo emblazoned across the front wing opens up an exciting new frontier for sports punditry and corporate ball washing. Instead of attempting to force the entire garbled team name into the commentary, leaving no time for Crofty to talk complete shit (also imagine the mess the great Murray Walker would have got into - "one of the Volvo Pound Share cars speeding up as it starts to slow down" etc) whenever a Visa Cash App RB rear ends another driver they can be said to have 'cash-apped' them.

For example:

"Ricciardo cash-apping one of the Alpines and I wonder how much time that has cost them both."

"Well Anthony, there are no Cash App fees for sending money if you stick to standard transfers that are processed within 1-3 business days, so I suppose the teams and the drivers will have factored that in..."

One would expect a more cynical approach from Brundle on his grid walks, perhaps remarking how Tsunoda "cashed out" his front wing on the first lap of the previous race.

Looks like one of those generic liveries from the Gran Turismo 3 F1 cars. But yeah, at least it's not bare carbon with some accent color hidden beneath sponsorship logos. The team names really became disgusting, shitting on any heritage that a team once might have had, devaluing the sport as a whole. No more pinnacle of Motorsport, technological advancements and on track drama. Now it's just a catwalk for sponsors without any identity or sporting appeal. Sad. Luckily there is still the WEC. Rant over, now you can give me my well earned top hats.

Considering that bovine negress that sicced her bodyguards on Brundle a bit ago was festooned with Cash App sponsorships he might have some particularly sharp things to say.

Red Bull's investigation into allegations of inappropriate behaviour against Christian Horner is set to continue after no resolution was reached during a first interview with the Formula 1 team principal on Friday.

Red Bull GmbH, the Austrian parent company of the F1 team, launched an independent investigation after allegations of controlling and coercive behaviour were made against Horner.

Horner on Friday faced his first interview with the external specialist barrister carrying out the investigation, with the London meeting understood to have lasted more than eight hours.

Horner, who has said that he denies the allegations "entirely", maintains his innocence and wants to clear his name.

The more I hear about this the more it feels like a shakedown.

8 hour fucking meeting with a barrister, I wouldn't be interviewed that long if I was suspected of multiple murders. Also "controlling and coersive" sounds exactly like what the workshys over at r/antiwork says any manager doing their job is.

In a move that surprised no one the new ferrari is red. SmartSelect_20240213_114118_Brave.jpg

The car is apparently completely rebuilt from the ground up with only "3-5%" of the car having anything in common with their 2023 car.

It's been a while gents since I've been around. A lot of change happening. Ferrari boasting they have 95% new components will either be a hilarious disaster come race day or a chronic high qualifier underachiever.

In truth Max is eternal.

Good to be back.

I'm hoping for utter shit show. Forcing Hamilton to watch the team he's just thrown in with drown while knowing his fate would be great. The cultLH cope would also be amazing.

That would be wonderful if Ferrari's problems were limited to the car. I can't look at their pit crew any more without hearing the plodding theme to Steptoe & Son - a vintage comedy about father and son rag and bone men.

To be fair here Ferrari's pit stop crews are usually good. Unlike Mercedes Ferrari has managed to put in some "fastest Pitstops" last year even managing to go below 2 seconds which only Red Bull and Mclaren achieved as well. Their strategy though needs some work.

Anyone got any ideas what the fuck Redbull are doing with Christian Horner and why?

I know there have been stories like he has fallen out with a whole heap of people(and most of that is probably inaccurate), and I wonder if Bernie Ecclestone actually told him he would be better off to resign?

Horner allegedly sexually harassed a female staff member at RBR. Depending on the source, this could be anything from putting his hand on her shoulder to sending her dick pics.

The conspiracy theories are great. Whilst I like the ones about Jos Verstappen trying to stitch up Horner because they had a falling out and Horner scuppering plans for RBR and Porsche to collaborate on engine development, the one trying to tenuously connect Ferrari's 2025 driver signing with a plot to push Horner out of RBR is my favourite (sadly there's no link, but I've seen it referenced earlier ITT).

Though I wouldn't be surprised if Jos is involved. The guy is a control freak who is obviously living vicariously through Max, all because Jos was an average F1 driver at best and his kid is a prodigy. The comments Horner made about RB19 being the most successful car in F1 history may have rustled Jos' jimmies on account of Horner not giving Max enough credit for his WDCs.

The fact the Dutch press were the first to break the story of these allegations is also kinda thunk-provoking.
