I wonder if the claw is strong enough to lift him
A Florida boy was so determined to win a prize from an arcade claw machine that he climbed inside to grab a stuffed animal – but got stuck with the plush toys instead.
The boy, identified only as Mason, was eating dinner with his family in Titusville when he “decided he wanted a stuffed animal” and pulled out all the stops to make it happen, according to the Titusville Fire and Emergency Services.
“He wanted it so bad, he climbed into the game to get that toy!!” the department posted on its Facebook page. “Thankfully he was never in any distress as one of our own [lieutenants} happened to be there off-duty and assessed the situation.”
Fire officials were able to extract the boy in “short order” while causing minimal damage to the game.
“We love a happy ending and are glad everything worked out,” the post continued. “Mom, Mason and friends went back to eating dinner, E10 back to their station to await the next call. Pretty sure it won’t be the same as their last.”
And little Mason didn’t walk away from the ordeal empty-handed.
“He came out with some toys,” Titusville Fire Department Battalion Chief Greg Sutton told Florida Today. “He did end up with what he was after.”
