You guys reminded me I screencapped some funny drama last year.

Feldoras, who is Severren's sister, sold a dragon named Saranus on the auction house and the person who bought him apparently exalted him. This caused her to make a very angry thread demanding the admins unexalt him. Sadly I don't appear to have the screenshots showing her rage. All I have are posts by her poor brother.

I generally stay out of the forums because from what I've heard they're batshit insane
Also if you don't want your dragon exalted
A. Don't sell it at a low price
B. Don't sell it on the AH because that's where people hunt for exalt fodder
C. Don't sell it to some rando

If she sold it she obviously didn't fucking want it so why's she chimping?
Also bitch please my giant Minecraft Scorpion got burned down like 20 times (I probably shouldn't have made it out of wool and not claimed the land it was on) and I kept on trucking

Last year there was one person in my flight who claimed to have anxiety attacks from Night of the Nocturne. Admittedly the event wasn't well planned out that year but she seriously would not stop guilt tripping our flight forum AND skype chat because she couldn't get the items she wanted. She also let us know that she was one of those lovely people who scowl whenever they get a compliment. IIRC she got pissed when people in public didn't acknowledge her gender fluidity. She might have made a decent cow if there was anything noteworthy about her, but she's pretty much tumblr trash. She's basically the reason I stopped regularly viewing the forums.

Dragon Share is by far the best forum because it's almost entirely pretty pictures of dragons, sometimes accompanied by lore. Nice and simple.

From opening hundreds of chests and not getting a breed change scroll, which is pretty much how most people experienced the event. She was pretty spergy though.

The genes are giraffe and hex and they both give a very giraffe-y look to a dragon

I was an active, if mostly isolated player until...I want to say I quit this past June? Right before whenever the most recent Brightshine Jubilee. It's not that I didn't like the game (and it's not that I still don't like it; I still reblog dragon art and stuff all the time on my blog), but I told myself after my utterly miserable days on Gaia back in high school that once a game became a nonstop grindfest of digital hoarding for me; that was when it was time to Stop.

I was in Nature Flight. I considered doing some kind of lore-based lair (given that I started in Wind; I had this whole backstory cobbled up that my clan was basically formed from a bunch of dragons who were lost in the Viridian Labyrinth and living in a lair cobbled from lost courier dragon packages; nicknamed 'Cargo Cult') but I just never got around to writing it down.

Sometimes I think about going back, but...

of course they play civ and micromanage citizens. they're getting paid to do that anyway
her(doubt) entire posting history is locking threads because they aren't made by npcs who can only suck the cocks of the devs. they also started getting rid of any mentions of native american culture because "appropriation" while having the entire site be based off of depictions of dragons from around the world
anyway, personal autism aside, FR totally deserves a community watch thread, it's even more needlessly retarded than the typical woke, largely female community as they get triggered over certain genes (god FORBID your dragon has a leopard pattern) and colors (boohoo the colors on my screen are too bright, no i will not turn the brightness down)
they throw a shitfit over every little thing (that forum thread about the identity buttons alone could be a kf thread of its own.)
anyway food for thought, just autistic rambling

Seconding this. Adding on to your autistic rambling, I've been watching the community for the past few years now, and I swear to god it's like somebody condensed the worst of Tumblr into one group. Definitely great thread potential, if anyone wants to write one I'd be happy to contribute.

And that's just a few posts from one thread. There's still far more outside of FR, the Tumblr blogs Salt Mine Rising and DramaRising both come to mind. anonrerising as well, though IMO it's much more tolerable than the other two. I would post more screencaps but unfortunately I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment. Additional autism over for now.
