This speculation was flying around shortly after his death. Of course, the Russians outright killing a Congress critter would be a major incident, and we're not looking to escalate any further this close to midterms.

It was also speculated that a Russian assassin poisoned him while he was in Ukraine, and he did in fact die at home as the media reports.

This is a misunderstanding. I have the right URL for the channel. They WERE all down as I was posting my previous post. I played a few of them at random and was greeted with "video unavailable" every time.

I watch some of his stuff, but not all of it. I like his wrestling and gaming videos. He covers some interesting and obscure games sometimes. I found out about him whenever he had a viral video about a nightmare RMA experience with a PC (a Dell, I think?). It made the company look cartoonishly retarded. He's an Irish lefty, so beware if you care about that.

From my understanding the merch line is a meta thing where the merchandise itself tells a story through the designs and product descriptions. Basically, it treats the fictional anime as if it's a pre-existing IP and releases merchandise from different points in its story.

The story is told through the merch drop announcements, product descriptions, and the designs themselves, rather than being something you actually have to purchase to access. So, in theory, someone could follow the story without buying anything; the merch is the medium. There is apparently a web comic or something coming out though.

I'd just like to add that you make him seem more interesting than he's been in my experience; I have no strong feelings about him, and I appreciate how that is often a good thing.

The Dell PC arc was a striking take on the 80 IQ Irish mind. Also him being the I Fucking Love Martial Arts guy to detaching his retina and being unable to ever do anything like that again is a little funny
 
I'm late because this thread was a slog to read, but I did mostly ejoy the video. The intro was weak. The 4chan and suicide trolling stuff seemed like the source was just made the fuck up. Mixed feelings in general. I think flesh has some good points and evidence. I also think his presentation of it and his physical demeanor makes him appear unhinged and like a potential unreliable narrator.
