I still wanna know what the FNaF trailer for the Kickstarter looked like. I'm sure it's hardly that much of a difference compared to the one on YouTube, like maybe there's a few different cuts here or there. Or at most, it's just a really shoddily put together powerpoint presentation using some of the teaser screenshots like Freddy's endoskeleton.
But yeah, Scott's other work is really interesting and legitimately cool to look at and to say that he's not a good artist would be very misguided. He just has better skills over designing monsters and areas than say... actual humans. Lest we forget The Pilgrim's Progress.

Yeah Scott's older style is great. FNaF is good but it doesn't let his artstyle really shine.

This is a render from Birdvillage. His old work really captures that 90s CGI that a lot of people are nostalgic for now. It's a shame so much of it is lost media. And we probably won't ever see him delve back into creating stuff like this, because, well, FNaF has him financially covered for god knows how long, and times have changed and I don't think a game with his artstyle would be received aswell as it was back in 2014. Any game he makes now would of course get interest just from association, but that's as far as it'll go.
I find it really fascinating. FNaF seems like a really boring speck among some of his other works.
Although he has also made some absolute horseshit. 20 Useless Apps comes to mind.

The bite of '87 is supposidly supposed to be the protagonist of the 2nd game when he completes his last night (i.e. the one where golden freddy appears and phone guy reveals "somebody used one of the suits, a yellow one"), so that lore was already closed and done with. The problem is that Scott has a REALLY bad issue of not explaining shit well, so the fans have to do his dirty work for him. Not to mention he likes to scatter the story all over the fucking place to confuse people...

I applaud the fans for making the effort to try to pice all of Scott's mess together, especially when you have """theorists""" on YouTube mucking the waters.
Well looking at his old works like desolate series from what i read (as i not beated the game) it wasn't that bad as both games were self contained and simple
I think is the fans who took it too serious making scott have to follow the audience ideas snd not the other way around
