And then a million theory videos pop up about how the security door represents the Japanese whaling industry and Willy is a hollow whale robot haunted by the souls of dolphins who are brutally murdered and made into tuna.

Indeed. Rule 34 took something that was suppose to be ugly and they end up being sexualized, despite being robots that housed the corpses of children. This is one of the things. Also, here is some cringe to show about the fandom:

LOL! Did you hear that kid though? He sounded like just a cute, regular kid. His favorite is Chica, but not the sexualized one.

Poor kid is trying to defend his game from the deviants!

I think the fan base is actually for the most part just regular kids, who like the game cause it's fun, and there's a ton of YouTube let's play videos out there with it.

And then there are the deviant 5% The tumblerites and pervy furfags who are trying to get new fapmaterial, and a few regular furries who are trying to spread their furry-cancer and get new converts.

Then I wonder why there is so much fanart making the characters look more appealing than they do in the games, and why there is so much shipping/rule 34 in everything in general? A very vocal and prolific minority?
