In his Kick livestream last night, James Drake showed his audition for Season 3, which resulted in him being originally casted for it by Ben, but as we know, he ultimately ended up as a contestant in Season 5. (I don't have a clip or anything, but I think he once mentioned that he couldn't make it to Season 3 due to scheduling conflicts)

Ben said during one of the S5 basement talks that Drake was supposed to be on season 3, but he was one of the people like Binx and Alex B that got exposed to the fishtank.live email address on accident (i would love to know who's fault that was) that cost them 40k on auditions they did through a casting agency.

He had a premiere for one of his "films" at the end of the first week of S3. The wiggers kept moving the dates for S3 and when they landed on starting in late October Drake asked them if they could move the season start an extra week out and they said no. I don't think he was a part of the original batch with Alex and Binx, but even if he was that wasn't the reason why he dropped out.
As I recall Burt replaced a last minute female contestant dropout, which is why the gender ratio ended up being 5 females, 7 males. Burt theorized that he replaced Drake when Drake told him he dropped out of Season 3 and I think they've just been running with that and nobody ever corrected them.

Burt was a last minute casting the week before S3 so I'm not sure about that, I'm pretty sure i remember Ben saying during the first few basement stream's in S5 that Drake was one of the people they had to recast from the email fuckup.
Maybe the schedule thing was something that happened with them trying to get Drake on S4? It also could be Ben said one thing but Drake has said another about what happened.
If that is true that him dropping out of S3 is what got Burt casted, that might be the best trade deal in the history of all time.
I think maybe I detached myself from gore since I was a younger person because that Betty wrussy actually made me recoil. Don't think I could manage watching the stream of it.

You’re not soft, humans aren’t equipped to see people die or get severely injured. Especially gore, it will mess with you even in the smallest of ways that you’re not cognizant of. Maybe you get a bit nervous standing near a pool because you saw a video of somebody slipping and cracking their head open years ago.
