When they introduced the van, I vividly remember them talking about how it was split into different "rooms" for the road trip stream. This was either a major gaslight for Alex B. or Maejok wasn't able to set up the van the way the Wiggers wanted. Either way, opting out of streaming the road trip seems like a major loss, especially when they had the Housemates idea lined up and seemingly ready to go while they figured the van out
It wasn't set up at the time, just Jet daydreaming on the spot. It presumably still isn't ready or they'd use it for the trip to Georgetown.

here’s an idea: mini season where they cast applicants who are various contractors and tradesmen. All challenges are actually just home repairs. Winner gets like $10k. It would save them so much on labor and they can just order the parts as needed with the guidance of each contractor. No eliminations.

And to encourage them not to leave when the contractors inevitably catch on to the situation they can incorporate Fishbucks like they do on the regular seasons. With TTS and fishtoys, like tools to make favored contractors’ jobs easier, they should have enough cash flow to balance out any costs and ideally come out further ahead.
