It makes me question Jet's idea of the twins making art while living in the house. He seems to think they're a major draw and can entertain everyone by doing very little. Their actual audience is pretty small on their own and I don't think that many more people would watch them over any other fishtank arrivals.

That said, having a built in audience of even a couple hundred puts someone in the 1% of streaming and sets them up for easy success, maybe not as a full time streamer but at least as a solid side gig. The biggest issue with fish streams is that they aren't actually doing anything they are interested in. It's why I like Jimmy's streams after s2 the most out of any fish. Watching him look through old home movie vhs tapes was cool.
Stream GTA/Keizaal RP, drawing, making music, sim drifting, idk. Don't just sit there and react to chat, that's something you do if you have like 500+ viewers constantly and is either charismatic enough or goon bait enough to sustain

I'm a fan of old-school IRL, so watching the twins draw or whatever wouldn't really be interesting to me, but watching 10-15 people in a house would be. A party stream would be something I'm into, a camping stream wouldn't since it's been done a million times before and is never good.
Nowadays though there's no platform that supports "real" IRL and the few people trying to do it are absolute niggers that fly too close to the sun and burn out too fast while also thinking that IRL is just Arab Andy-maxxing or languishing in an RV.

I'd maybe consider watching them or bashir stream if they're doing interesting stuff - would definitely watch JDrake or Landon do IRL. I tune into Burt sometimes when he has Frank on but it's usually hellish retarded content and I don't last long.

I think what happened to Meiwaku (in that, what drove her to self immolate on pyre that is Bashir) is a good testament showing what depression/social isolation causes.
Mei was a very profilic poster here (4-6 times per day at least, not counting time spent in chats/dms since they are not logged in the post history), combine that with her mentioning in the chat with Bashir "I had two friends die recently this year, I have been searching for God and Meaning...", I think paints a pretty big picture of their mental state. I see someone depressed and having an existential crisis (Friends died = faced with mortality -> Looking for "Meaning" and God) who was probably looking for a way out. In comes fishtank where you are more or less watching the fish/freeloaders 24/7 for 30 days more or less. This allows someone with an aforementioned issue at hand mentally, a perfect chance to para-socially latch onto someone.

Bashir would often talk about things that tangentially relate to what Mei was interested in. So its not hard to see why someone with all these issues, with a parasocial relationship forming, to decide she would rather burn her kiwifarms and everything else for a chance with "the one" (who she also said "helped her find God".
I think Mei probably assumed no one here gave two fucks enough to phone book her and peek into her fucked up world (lolicon shit), but she pissed so many people off igniting the self immolation for Bashir that people did just. Now, assuming the Bashir thing does not work (Which there was never more than a 1-5% chance of it happening to begin with), she has nothing left since she burned everything else for it.

I would not be shocked to see her back on an alt (assuming she is not already) or engaging in pretty self destructive behaviors IRL to cope with what she has wraught. This is why I support Jet's stated vision for the off season, because theres a non-zero chance I tune into someones random Kick stream, but if someones in one of the rooms of the house or IRL streaming on the site, I will more than likely tune in.

In fact, F it: Give us Friendtank people what we really want and in the offseason let former fish/new people live in the house and do their respective bits in each room, then let them interact in normal ways throughout the house. Listening to a Bashir sermon only for the Twins to come in and ask questions would be PREMIUM second monitor content.
