With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Youre really dismissing the huge swath of people who hated burt for being the gayest nigger possible lol. Ill go out on a limb and say that a large part of teh community didnt want to see teh worlds most hyper gaynigger get 50k to buy mroe antivirals and fund his werid gay old jew sexcapades. I feel insane for having to repeat this over a year later: burt is fun to laugh AT, not WITH. burt was a horrendous gay pos'd nigger retard, and that's why he was the best part of the season. i think he should have won, and i'm happy he didn't get the prize money supposedly. rare good call from the wiggers. sometimes they get the ending right.

imo, the win SHOULD have gone to Alex B, in a timeline where he locked the fuck in, divorced The Pig on the spot, realized he had a family fortune that shouldn't go to obese latina hookers, and took Sam's advice. there was a timeline where this happened, we just got the one where he's a lunatic simp with a feeder kink.

Lol the idea of Alex ever doing this is just as likely as BossmanJack getting 50k and not wasting it on drugs and gambling. While it would've been glorious it's never going to happen.

True, but this would no-doubt be the best case scenario for S3, because Alex ragequit, there were no good candidates for winner.

I can see why Jet overcompensated in s4 and just cast complete retards and deformed freaks, because all the s3 contestants were basically normies with screwed up sex lives. Would not be out of place at any Hipster bar in any American city.

Mizzy and Luke won tangible prizes in the form of getting fucked by Sam and becoming his protege, respectively. They were the real winners of s3.

the intent behind this imo was to give someone a productive arc. this sort of happened with luke, mizzy, and burt.
luke became much more of a team player after he was brought back and actually ended up bonding with sam. burt basically just realized everyone thought he was a crazy nigger and began leaning into it for the content. he did go from actual psychosis to performed psychosis. mizzy just stopped crying over fucking everything and started playing the game how it's meant to be played.

this should have, in an ideal scenario been the case for all the finalists, but binx and payton were able to basically just coast by on simp-farming, and inoffensive behavior.
the arc for Alex would have been absolute kino if he'd taken the bait, and would've outshined the other contestants if he'd actually taken the bait and stopped being a pussywhipped easily-offended pansy
 
How are we still having discussions on the morality/ethics of Fishtank??

It's been immoral/unethical by design from inception, and the contests are, for the most part, meaningless. Contests exist purely to raise tensions, drive narratives where they exist, and cause sperg outs. 'Playing the game' has zero connection to success.

Either you're the most entertaining, the largest simp magnet, and/or you make production the most money to win it. The only exception so far has been S2 where there was nobody deserving of winning it anyway, so they gave it to TJ. If they hadn't burned out weeks before, Jimmy or Cole would've won.

Every season basically has had real character development to some degree though. letty josie learning to be more assertive, TJ and Tay learning basically the same thing, what I already said about s3, and there were even the beginnings of these sorts of dynamics forming within s4's cast in the form of fred flirting with the concept of self-regulation and dan flirting with the concept of becoming less of a sped.

imo s3 is sort of the opposite of the typical season because it took fucked up normies and made them all a little more fun, which is interesting in its own right, but there was no drastic "arc" or "character development" like there was in s2.
and like s3 and 4, s2's best contenders, jimmy and cole either ragequit or were unceremoniously kicked off by the wiggers.
