With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

I think someone mentioned it here awhile ago and I remember Sam saying it on a PGL episode. Sam hates traveling now, after doing all the stand up tour shit, flying places, he said he's done traveling and he hates it. Rochefort was like "Ahhh jeez doood, but we should do this and that" and he was cold to it. So even if he'd be up to hosting, I think the traveling is 100% the reason why he won't host.
 
I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be watching this, but I doubt this'll turn into anything on the level of the other seasons. Ain't buying shit this season either, you'd have to be a retard to give jet any more money after the continuous fuckups. But still, defo gonna tune in once in a while

IP2 did it better in there hayday before Andy molester Dick joined. Slimey Jet Neptroon wouldn't be able to even come close to the scam filled glory that nepobaby Capn Content did. Im thankful goochese never tried to be part of fishtank.
 
I highly doubt that even half the people that auditioned for S5 would have done so if they knew Sam wasn't going to be there and they were never going to meet him. I also don't really believe the "focusing on politics" line - I think Sam just wants to distance himself from Jet after the Ellie incident and all the allegations that followed that.
This is yet another wigger disaster in the making.
 
Welp, we all saw this coming after S4 and Sam's reaction to how it ended on Xitter (he wanted fans to come up with a name for his grift supplement). He's going all in on gay political grifting and courting the groyper crowd. I hope Jan is more involved in production going forward and the new host isn't someone like Alex Stein.
 
I think without Sam in the show being Sam this is just gonna turn into a small gang of incels committing unfunny torture on autistic people on a livestream. Dead show. Sam might be going through a hell of decline but atleast he has some good sense to seperate himself from these guys and the baggage they're accumulating.

im not watching if its Alex Stein. his voice alone will make me turn it off in five minutes.

I think the main issue I see is that you need to have at least one person in a reality show who has a sufficiently different personality type and temperament than the guests. Jet and Ben are... too similar to the kind of person who would actually be on Fishtank. This means there is no one left on the show who is not the kind of person who would subject themselves to the kinds of humiliation you see on Fishtank, everyone has the personality of a contestant, no one is a host.

Jerry Springer worked well because Jerry was obviously to everyone in the audience someone who would never appear on his own show were he not hosting it.
