With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Watching TJ in Japan with a bunch of IP2 faggots and Letty made me not hate him, since the behavior gap between his sort of average joe spergism and the IP2/Letty crowd's abject degeneracy was a great contrast.

S3 house finally closed. I've been expecting this to happen this week because almost certainly the purchaser wants to spend Christmas in their new home and not be stuck waiting for everyone to come back from their holiday vacations after New Years.

I'm not too critical of Jet compared to the rest of the thread, but kicking Jin was arguably one of the biggest fuckups in tank history. Not saying they should have kicked Daniel either, watching him tard-rage over being friendzoned was genuinely funny too and we don't get that if he goes instead. But Jin was an A-tier instigator and his streams post-tank are pretty good indicators he would have been great until the show crashed and burned.

Catching up on the thread and going from your previous post of "Angie, Aryeh and Seth are hanging out seeing a movie! And Angie is at Seth's house!!!" and then on the next page scrolling by depressed Seth had me almost in tears laughing. I love this thread lol.

The new owners will forever be haunted by ghostly TTS voices, unexplained hell house stains and they'll stumble on random debris from Bloodgames for years to come.
 
Is the show just dead? What even was the last update? I was wrong about the STOX being new, all the new items are for the gay Bloodgames shovelware, and the auditions seem to just be them gathering another round of one minute videos from the same autistic people who have applied five times. “Day 100” passed with nothing. What passes for major news now is Ben changing his avi to Jack Sparrow. Other than Aryeh getting flamed by the director of Slam Frank and Angie breaking Seth even the offseason content has been shit. I wonder how the people who invested like a million dollars are feeling right now?

It's only been 6 months. I say "only" because previous seasons have had like 8 months between them, and that's without them having to find property in other states and build sets or whatever they're doing. Casting's been open a few weeks, the Backpages application said they had 15 slots and the casting call closes Dec 31. Could be an arbitrary date, who knows, but I'm basing the timeline in my head based on that.

Those in-person Season 4 applications were in March and Season 4 was 3 months after that, fwiw.

They're working on it quietly it seems. My guess is that they don't want anyone to know the location of their new property by now and are staying very lowkey in whatever area they're in. Its easier to avoid trouble that way than to deal with the permits and all the restrictions that come with said permits.
 
They don't need to reveal any details or show footage which could potentially leak the location. A simple video or post discussing what's been done, what they're doing, etc would be good. There has been literally nothing since Season 4's cancellation and the applications for the show haven't even been advertised so only the dregs of the community who are still latched onto the show (including us) are aware of it.

they also threw all those out last minute and cast an entirely different group of retards(allegedly because of IP2 infiltration)

so maybe this moves the timeline up? i suspect they're just looking for a gem with the online applications and the backpage people will be the primary applicants. surely they're not gonna just cast fans again.
 
In his latest stream, Burt was asked whether he's gonna be drinking since there was a bottle of alcohol in background. He then said it was for a friend and he stopped drinking alcohol in... he stopped here then "had to look at his notes" and said in third person "oh yeah Burt has stopped drinking alcohol in 2011, that's right". Hmm, interesting...
