Tay vs Cryokeen was fun though
I think she works best on a "hellhouse" kinda place, the LARP in the woods was too whimsical for her. She looked like she was always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
The moment she stepped into the hamster pen, she became much more animated.

Tay's one of the best people that have been on the show when it comes to actually competing and fucking with others but it was clear that she was awkward with the roleplaying and especially the more cringy stuff that was intentionally done with her such as the wolf pup and feet stuff. Her best moments on Bloodgames for me were her shouting matches with Jon and fucking with Cryokeen, she's one of the best contestants when it comes to direct confrontations.

I'm a Taytriot mostly out of how bad the later half of Season 2 was. Had the cast not collapsed half way through the show, she'd have been a midtier Fish, but she was the only one that was interesting out of the Final 4, and she totally got robbed.

I'll admit she was a bad fit for Bloodgames, though. She is kinda boring in it like Vance, except they focused on her a lot more, and they really fucked up with gaslighting her that Xavier was her Stalker.

I just don't get what people see in Tayleigh, then again there are a lot of fish who I never got the appeal of. The only ones I care about are autistic/bpd/retarded or strong competitors.

I think Tay is just fine, but no matter what suffers from the fact that (I've written this here before) the Fishtank audience will always hate women that do anything. It just comes with the territory, I'm not saying it like it's a bad thing. At the times of the seasons being broadcast, any woman who performs any action will just be hated for it.

Letty, Tay, Mizzy, and Direnc, when you look at the actual competition, competed and won challenges as much as the top men did. All of those girls were ripped apart by TTS and fucked with by production.

Josie, Trish, Payton and Ellie are the prototypical Fishtank Woman because they sit around and do nothing, then get the most praise and plushie deliveries and other positive Fishtoys, because the audience is retarded and wants girls to sit there and do nothing. They had easy rides and in the case of Josie, won the season by doing nothing and never getting fucked with. Summer was probably meant to be the season 2 version of this rather than Trish, but that bitch was insane.

There are other justifiably hateable women on Fishtank, like Binx, Rachel, Angelina, Alexis, JC, and Meg, but most of the time, girls don't stick around very long unless they fall into one of the two above groups. Rachel is an anomaly because she's built to be a hate-magnet, and Binx is an anomaly because she didn't just sit around, but everything she did fucking sucked.

I think we watched a different show. Mizzy is not known for competing and winning challenges, she is known for slop. She was so much of a non-contender that Sam had to give her a solo challenge of just walking around the house for her to even have a chance of staying.
That was one particular day in Season 3 for a physical fitness challenge, versus ones she was very active in participating in, like the candy challenge, artistic challenge, the disability challenge, the eating contest+cigarettes challenge, and drunk POS challenge. None of the girls did well in the physical test, period, because they're girls.

This kind of reaches a second point about women on Fishtank - no matter what, they will never be physically stronger than men. So their only options are to engage in the 'social' aspect of the game to win, which the audience then sees as conniving and duplicitous.

Tayleigh falls into the strong competitors category for most taytriots. She made some good plays in the competition like stealing all of TJ's chips the morning of the final day and I can see why people say she deserved to win season 2. She probably did. I'm guilty of having Tayleigh Derangement Syndrome during s2 and bloodgames just because I found her insanely cringe and annoying.

Tayleigh is one of the strongest competitors to have been on the show but that's one of the last things I look for in a fishtank cast member. The competition is really just a backdrop for comedic antics and drama as far as I'm concerned. Letty hits the sweet spot for me because she was acting like a strong competitor and being funny and entertaining while doing so.

It is true that the fanbase is largely misogynistic and every season the villain ends up being a woman who is a threat in the competition and antagonistic to the fan-favorite runner-ups. It was Letty in season 1, Tayleigh in season 2, Binx in season 3, and could have been Drench in season 4. But the idea that the only reason that Tayleigh is so disliked is because the fans are sexist is silly. I think it's mostly because she's cringe.

That was one particular day in Season 3for a physical fitness challenge
If I remember correctly Sam pulled her aside because she was going to be voted off and she basically just threw her hands up earlier and quit because nobody liked her and they were all going to vote for her so he told her to start walking and maybe she can stay, so no it wasn't for a fitness challenge.
, versus ones she was very active in participating in, like the candy challenge,
The candy challenge where LaRon and Alexis stole candy and she did the bare minimum of collecting candy, I don't think she stuck out more than anyone here.
artistic challenge,
Is this just the paintings they did of each other? Fine she participated but everyone did so it doesn't make her stand out again.
the disability challenge,
I mostly just remember Simbal from this so I can't argue about it.
the eating contest+cigarettes challenge,
She refused to eat the hotdogs and stood on a chair next to Binx screaming at her team. She smoked a couple cigarettes and then during the exercise part she didn't even try extra hard to make up for earlier, her team lost but then to be funny Sam and Ben said they didn't count and made both teams do the exercise again and that's when her team won.
and drunk POS challenge
I don't remember her doing much in this either, mostly Jobe, Alex B, and Connor pissing on each others stuff and Simbal's suitcase. I don't even think she got drunk.

Maybe I just don't remember her doing stuff but she really didn't seem to be that active. Her being inactive was an ongoing joke between Sam and Ben in confessional. They talked about (and eventually did) put her in the coat room with a sandbox because she didn't do anything.

Tay should have won season 2

She was mindfucked the entire time during blood games because her and jimmy both thought they were being brought back to be fucked with and less than 24 hours before the show stared her entire family got doxxed by her 4chan psycho stalker.
