With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

It is mindblowing that this hadn't happened sooner. It's not like this has been a busy year for them - literally nothing Fishtank related happened in 2025 other than two weeks of S4, why did they need to sit around huffing galaxy gas for two months after the show ended?

I guess you could argue that they were dealing with the legal stuff, but somehow I doubt Jet and Ben are deep in the legalese.

You're forgetting all the work that went into BG2. From what little we saw, they were doing a lot with the S3 property before it got shut down. And dismantling it all is a project in and of itself.

But they could've gotten a lot more shit done since mid June.

like not just taking someones phone, but doing it to a beat up woman to prevent her from leaving.

He was becoming more and more agitated over time because of the unpaid 50k and lack of opportunities coming his way related to Fishtank. This culminated in his deranged list of demands to keep streaming on their site shortly after which they used Alex B as a proxy to ban him from the site. He stayed silent for a week waiting to be unbanned but he wasn't so he had the ultimate crash out and started the Jet Nepstein investigation which caused him to be warned that if he continues with it he will be completely blacklisted.

But what's dubious is that before he was banned from the site he was already not allowed to be on Sardine Tin so it's a convoluted mess of what they've been doing with Burt. In my opinion they grew tired of him and his growing agitation so they intentionally blocked him off and tried to string him along for as long as possible until he did something they could blacklist him for, so it didn't look like they did it out of the blue because that would be even more bitchmade than blacklisting him for covering Jet's embarrassing grooming adventures. And now he's been mentioning Marky.

To clarify, Burt was invited on Sardine Tin by the showrunners and was supposed to be there until they were told by the wiggers not to let him on, so they canceled on him last minute. Burt was pissed at this because he was excited for the all male prison theme. I'm pretty sure this was after he got banned from streaming on the site but before he came back from his one week hiatus and started investigating the Nepstein Files. When the wiggers told him to stop the Nepstein Files investigation or else they would permanently cut him off, he felt like he was already permanently cut off based on the bans, so he just continued the investigation.

Not sure if this is a confirmation from Aperture, but you could take it as "It's true but I'm not the one who made the information public."

Whatever, who cares? This is more great news as far as I'm concerned. We've seen enough of Burt on Fishtank, he ran his course and he simply wasn't really funny anymore, it got old really fast. I wanted to see Burt on BG2 but he's been forced down the audience's throat so much that I don't even care anymore, I don't really want to see Burt on Fishtank ever again.

I'm pretty sure Burt has some Weens puppeting his actions, thinking they are funnier than Burt is. Many such cases in ruining a lolcow, I fucking hate them.
