MDE as a whole has been making all the wrong moves recently, really squandering the good will and momentum they've built up these last few years. Sam is definitely most to blame for it but Jet's actions are inexcusable as well considering how huge fishtank as an arm of MDE has become. He really needs to say something, anything at all, to assuage fears here. It's a critical juncture for the show and the silent treatment is not doing anyone any favors.
At least announce a release window for BG episodes or something.

Nick Rochefort will probably be the first one to leave, since he has the highest chance of doing well if he went solo with scuffed realtor. And if he were to leave, Charls would follow suite, but Charls' brain is completely fucked now with some form of Schizo autism. I remember watching him when he used to do his "PURE" streams on Quake and Half life, while they were funny, now he is unwatchable when he solo streams.

There's some cruel irony in MDE getting back together after a decade only for it to crash and burn in record time thanks to Sam's stupidity.

And I saw this as a former fan of Sam too. He lost the plot sometime after Bloodgames and it's been downhill ever since.

I would agree that MDE is fucking up, but I don't know if it really matters to their base too much. Whatever fallout from the Harland Podcast is both surprisingly persistent in a meme way and also mostly insignificant. I don't know that it is a real problem to most viewers. Any long-term MDE acolyte has a huge tolerance for dumb bullshit, scams and price gouging. It really seems like very little can shake them off.

In some way many things going wrong may be better, the shock of it all could be a benefit if it forces some re-evaluations. Still, Extreme Peace did well, the money is good. Judging on that MDE may see no issue at all.
Problems with Fishtank are also close to what Sam likes; "It is a privilege just to be able to fight". They all seem fine operating on the limit of what is functional and stable. Some of all that is why they make compelling things at all.
I don't think it is over yet. But I agree that more transparency would be nice.

They said they would populate the BTS page on the site, it is paypig-only so I don't actually know if they added anything there, does anyone know?

He's also not political at all.

Yea I feel that is probably most the case of it. He sees nick being marketed as "the most cancelled right winger" and all that other shit and somewhat related on that front without knowing the full context of Nick being "Cancelled" is almost entirely due to him being an idiot and turning on literally every single person who even slightly disagrees with him on gay shit like Kanye and how everyone is a jew (including Sam)

I personally believe Sam is stuck between being a comedy guy and a political guy. There is a friction that is hard to integrate with that and its causing issues, but financially I don't think so. Extreme Peace made its money back, their investor will be back to fund a Season 2, as seen in Buckingham's Documentary.

Fishtank may be fucked I guess. When they did their final stream about the Season 4 failure it seemed as if they had enough cash to just keep going. I am assuming that because they said they wanted to be up and running in a matter of months. I think this implies that they do not need to sell their properties to be liquid enough to carry on as selling that weird garbage will be time consuming. I also assume this is part of why they bought the properties at all, they were relatively cheap because they were hard to sell due to issues like the broken foundation in the Season 2 House, or the eclectic floorplan of the Season 3/ BG property.
If anything it would be nice to know what is even going on at this point. But maybe Jet is just on a little galaxygas bender to recoup for a bit.
