Imagine asking for the power to see the future and you only get to see nontent from future seasons of Fishtank.
Watching strangers sleep ✨but in the near future✨

I believe they'll have all the episodes downloadable from the MDE site eventually, just not an option right now to make piracy harder, so much for that lol
Makes sense, I'm just autistic about hoarding data on my servers. Although I'm sure they're going to paywall the final downloads behind the XL pass. I already payed the $20 because I like what they made so I dont feel bad downloading it.

lol

Also, while i'm still on the EP 5 topic.
When they were in the limo there was a Windows96 song playing but I cant remember for the life of me which one, or even the album it wouldve been on.
Any other electronic music autists know? I want to go on the youtube video for it and see if other people figured it out too.

EDIT: "Wasted Winds" from the "Reflections" album

Some of these spinoffs and copies of Fishtank are cool and all, but absolutely zero of them scratch the itch. Criticize production all you want (as I have also done), but it's clear now that the soul of Fishtank is something that can't be replicated by just anyone. There are a few intangibles that make FT special and we're pretty lucky to have it.

That being said, I don't give a fuck about Fishtank right now. Bloodgames 2 better be first priority once they relocate.

But what they do have is a way more competent production that highlights the laziness and incompetence of the wiggers, and shows how much better fishtank could be if it was run by people who actually gave a shit and put in more effort.

I can't say I agree fully. Other shows' production teams are sometimes more obviously enthusiastic about their end product while FT production can lean way too far into the gen z apathy style of humor, but it's pretty clear that they work pretty hard behind the scenes a majority of the time, and that they are very focused on the brand image.

However... we were still never given a clear reason as to why S4 was treated the way it was. There's a huge dissonance between BTS production quality and the way Sam and Jet treated the season while it was live. I'm 75% sure it was a theming setup for the twist, but now we'll never know, and it definitely wasn't a good call. Made them look retarded overall.
If the apathy is real, they need someone more established to step in and tard wrangle it out of the team. They have an incredible thing going here, it'd be stupid as fuck to squander it because of burnout. A safe season every now and then is fine but they should be always be pushing the envelope, even with their backs against a wall.

My point is that they aren't incompetent and they aren't lazy when they're motivated.
If I were running a show I'd probably put more consistent effort in to ensure there's always something interesting happening, and I'd really try to stick to a plan from day 1 to the very end, but I can't say I'd be able to make it as engaging and funny as the high moments of Fishtank.

I think people forget that FT is already surprisingly good at this.
A personal gripe of mine is how rarely FT uses longer-form challenges that span a few days. I do not mean things like the Cell but more stuff like the candy hoarding challenges that lay in the background of other activities.

It is annoying to not know what really went on. Because the things we do know point to them deliberately crashing the season for some reason.
I don't really accept that there was a planned 'Twist' at all.
Luke said in his stream that he was living in the Season 2 house and had to suddenly leave for production to move in, then the place gets condemned and Luke is out of a place to live, couch-surfing. Does not sound like a plan to me, unless Luke is lying. I don't see the point of that though.

I agree to an extent but its nothing that the wiggers themselves do that makes it that way. It's Sam Hyde's celebrity and the money they have that allows them to get better casts and do bigger things. If Greg, the Mexicans, etc had the same resources they'd do just as good.

FT has a specific formula and without it you can't recreate its magic. it basically goes something like this:

1- Taste (someone with just money and no taste will end up creating a trashy FT.)
2- Sam as the main host, or someone equally imposing and crazy but not retarded and cringe.
3- Massive existing fanbase. this has a lot of benefits manly for tts and also makes the twitter side of things way more fun.
4- Exceptional ability to cast interesting people that fit perfectly to each season or vibe that you're trying to create. (there is also some luck involved).
5- Willingness to go big with setting a specific vibe for each season. it require money and vision, can't easily be replicated. even s4 was set to do more than what we expected.

and probably some more but these are pretty important and without it you don't get anything like fishtank.

In this case I think it will cause fatigue.
I think the fatigue will come in low viewership elsewhere, can't imagine it'll hit the real deal too hard in that regard. Nobody is really watching the mexislop and Greg's stuff has always been for the most parasocial so it isn't really gonna hit any market share.
holy fucking shit, the boxing match between midget and frank was insane. frank literally KO'd this dude in one hit. look at how much accuracy and power was behind that punch. he literally threw a full force using his hips and connected and ruined this guy's life. Watch his body when the punch connects.
People still think Frank wasn't holding back on Burt and that Burt mogged him. If Frank wanted to he'd have put Burt out fast.
