With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

There haven't been a Fishtank winner that receive the full grand prize I think, Sam split Josie prize money and gave it to Letty cause she's rightfully deserved it, TJ split his prize money with Fatty to get CP (Chris Points), and Burt got shafted and only receive half of his grand prize. Even though S4 only promised a total of 8k as the prize, they kept increasing the number and in the end give all 6 contestant that they had 8k each.


For those of you who missed it, Dan was doing a twitter space hosted by someone who I presumed to be his friends.

If memory serves me correctly, the s1 prize started at 10k and got increased throughout the season up to $35k which is what Josie got. I don't think they ever promised the winner $50k until season 2. Also in bitchtank the prize was $2k but according to Claire they didn't even pay Haley.
 
To counter my earlier doomposting, I do think it’s amazing that the show is so scuffed, uneven, unplanned, and poorly executed, and I still love it so much. Imagine what the show could be if the wiggers put in more effort.

yeah also i thought the ig lives they did after that season were in that house i might be wrong but i think i remember seeing them in that kitchen. might have been seths

That just might actually work. BG2 at the county fairgrounds. If they can accommodate traveling carnies, they can do the same for wiggers and NPC volunteers.

The Karens would still find a reason to shut that down though.

Sam in the s4 Cell laughing at the fact that Burt has a whole fanbase of people who think Burt is a very wholesome and innocent dude when he's actually a massive psycho in real life made me chuckle.

Is everyone amnesiac? Burt gave his prize money away to the other contestants and even he himself said during the show that he did not care about the grand prize.

Josie won the full 30k she was promised in s1, in fact she was originally promised only 15k but they raised the grand prize during the show. The money they gave Letty had nothing to do with Josie's, it was just a bonus because she earned it. And I think the money Burt received was for fishbux and wasn't actually the grand prize money at all.
