I'd also add that like... his specific area of medicine isn't particularly high risk or even really patient facing
he just reads x-rays and shit, he might even just interpret them for other doctors and not even talk to patients at all
so like if you're going to have a weirdo anywhere, that's probably the place you'd want him

The University of Toledo residency page is a couple of years old and residency (while paid) isn't actually a proper job, it's very hard to get fired from a residency position because you're still considered a student- it's also about when the next batch of residents start (this is why people say don't go to the hospital in July).

He's also a radiologist.

Strongly wording this, he's a lot smarter and self-aware than people are giving him credit for and was very clearly playing into a lot of stuff on the tank.

There's a Danish woman who's a surgeon during the week and a globe-trotting techno DJ on the weekend. It's utterly absurd. No idea how it's allowed and thank fuck I don't live in Copenhagen and need surgery there at some point.

Plus all the while she spouts guff like:
