With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Because it's not that easy. Its a per department policy but most require full sweeps. You cant just have a guy outside that goes "yeah its fine", even if everyone knows it is.

They talked about how they did this for season 1, they had to pay a patrol car to sit down the street from the house. IDK the exact logistics of it but in some areas its a service you can pay for, no idea why they didnt keep up with it.

This is the last thing people need for a really average season. I have to wait for days to watch a Spongebob fanatic, an antifa alcoholic, a crack whore and other nontent characters. There is nothing keeping me in suspense here. Season 3 was a really bad ending because the cast and development was so good. FYI, Jet, Fishtank isn't even known on the internet, let alone a household name. You know why Rachael was hilarious? Because she was a normie. You can still cast normies and have people watching your show on the edge of their seats. Honestly, Fantank has nothing on season 3. Greatest piece of media I've ever had the chance to witness live even with all the mistakes.

The bodycam we've seen from the S1 house indicates the cops there are on good terms with Jet and knew everything going on. The stuff that happened yesterday is unrelated to their relationship with cops and likely stemmed from someone taking advantage of the previous legal issues there.
 
my question is how much of this do we put on Sam and Jet. Sam's been saying anti jew nigger shit for years and leftists didn't just spring up. The contingency plan for this seems to be "aw jeez dood we gonna fix it dood check my supplement company out"

It is, but it is tighter than they probably want to admit. Maejok said on HK2 they have like 50+ people just on Fishtanks payroll between S4, Bloodgames II, and probably the other project. There's a lot of overhead to an (sometimes too) ambitious project like this.

But then again if you have that many people why does fishtank always seem completely strung together. Half of the shit they seem to think up on the spot.

Because part of the charm is that they just make stuff up as they got along. The other half is that (from what I assume) 75% of that workforce is working on BGII or are office types (editing, accounting, etc.)

Xavier said that he isn't paying anyone to work on BG.
So if S4's cast is Maejok, Luke, Jobe(Who may just be there to hang), Jet, Ben, Bill, Mints and sometimes Jameson.
There's no way that there are 40 people at the BG house most of which we've never seen.

I doubt they are ever actually running out of money, I'm sure a lot of it is just to stir up the audience and maybe the fish.
