With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

If they can get all those people in a house for 4 seasons, and pull off the 'Famous House' psych-out pretty well, then it's hardly a stretch for them to simply find some retired guy to pay $5k or whatever to film the house and post it on reddit.

How did this guy 1.5 hours away manage to drive by and film at the moment they were waiting outside?

People are worried they might have ended the show because the fish have their phones back and are active on social media (Freddy and Ellie are active on instagram) but my guess is they have them all sitting in a hotel right now until they figure stuff out and gave them their phones back so they aren’t bored but we’ll see.
I hope the show goes on.

The show is effectively over, the streams have been down for a day, the fish have been on their phones deleting social media posts and what not. Even if the show does come back it's just a formality to have something stream on the site because people paid for 6 weeks. Whoever "wins" this season of Fishtank will always be a fake winner. It was already bad enough when the fish were allowed on their phones briefly in s1 but they were at least forced to stay in the house while Jon went apeshit.

And if we enter another RVtank then the show is more over than it's ever been. No one is going to sit through RVtank again after last time.

You're basically agreeing with me, the SPCA couldn't charge anyone other than Frank with anything but they have a bad taste in their mouth with the chicken stuff. Law Enforcement agencies operate in a stand-alone-complex way when it comes to stuff like this. Sam and Jet may have gotten away with the chicken stuff but the moment they were put in legal jeopardy by the local police were going to exact their due and give no mercy at all. OJ getting away with the murder and then getting absolutely torched later on on a rather middling breaking and entering robbery stunt is a good example of law enforcement stewing on something even if they claimed all was well and good in the world.
