With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

No, *hot* would be if he preferred the dogshit Sadamoto manga. The PSP game where you have to refill your pee meter and Fuyutsuki dresses Shinji up like a maid is better than that. Puzzle-piece me if you must.

He's not wrong. Evangelion as a series is dogshit with terrible animation and the "story" is just some whiny kid refusing to get in the robot then being forced into the robot, then crying about it. Whereas end of EVA is all that but with some decent animation and a schizo pussyhanded godbeing music video.
 
I didnt watch End of Evangelion but I did watch the series for the first time recently and I dont quite get the love for it. I do think the "psychology of self" weird montage in the last episode was really well done though.

How has today been? Havent really been able to watch

theyve mostly just been chilling.
they had a old lady tarot card reader on and that was pretty funny
then did a challenge where everyone had to make 'voodoo dolls' of each and a challenge where people were controlled by the person holding their voodoo doll.
i thought it was pretty fun.

also before the tarot lady came they made the fish make a seafood boil for her for whatever reason
i think they thought she was creole, but she was just a new england sicilian

The EVAs and Angels have a unique design aesthetic that looks really cool. That's it, that's why it's popular.
