With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

There is a lot of Fantano tangential connections. If anyone remembers LtCorbis/Soph a close associate of hers Victor(vaporubboy(?)), brazillian guy, was Fantano's editor for some of the edgy stuff Fantano put out. Soph and Him are both Sam fans and MDE was a heavy formative inspiration to them comedically.
So Fantano was enmeshed in a lot of Sam's style in many ways. Before he decided to be more gay from eating soy as a vegan.

What is Soph up to these days? I'm not sure I've ever seen someone get deplatformed as decisively as her.

She did a lot of videos on SubscibeStar for a few years, thats most of her content that I have seen, lots of good schizo topics. I think she is gone from the internet since about a year ago though. I've seen an archive on /t/ and some videos are still reuploaded on a few places, internet archive has some old stuff, stray X accounts. But she seems to be done.
 
Best thing they coulda done damage control wise, if we can't have jin at least we can have a new not-autist to balance out the dynamic. Only day 4 so it's not like we're too deep in for an emergency sub
 
I don't know if anyone caught much of the Jin stream but he talked a bit more about being booted without warning. Jet wasn't even down there and they refused to tell him why he was being removed. He figured it was the r9k stuff but we only know that's what it was because Sam mentioned it to Daniel. Jet being kept up all night because he's so pissed off at Jin, then refusing to speak to him once he's kicked is incredible. He also drank a glass of water if thats anything
