idk i think there's just too many downsides to make fucking with normies the heart of the show. they tried with S3 and it devolved into something extremely mediocre with small bursts of some of the best content to ever be streamed(burt's gooner shenanigans and alex's wife)

but the downsides were pretty severe, the fish just wanting to chill without provoking anyone and trying to get with the e-girls being the biggest ones. I liked S1 the most where it was a mix of people who were aware of MDE and generic internet freaks of varying backgrounds. provided the most organic content, wasn't just MDE fans getting the business or normies trying to out-vibe one another.

I’d disagree, at least at first. There was plenty of tension and plans for sabotage among the fish at first. It was voting based eliminations, so betrayal and alliance switches was a huge part of the first two weeks. The best example would be Simbal constantly jeeting things up with Alex and going against him. Ted was a similar story but to a lesser degree.

The main problem was how they did the reveal. Now, I’m not saying the reveal was bad content wise. When you have two weeks of build up and gaslighting coming to a head it’s going to be good. The problem is that the change in tone happened far too fast. Production threw them to the wolves. You go from a fake computer and some whacky shenanigans to one of the most brutal challenges in Fishtank history, The Cell. Obviously fish are going to freak out and shut down. Some are going to leave.

I truly believe that if production took the route they were seemingly going to take, that being a subtle breakdown of Famous House as expressed through computer being more radical and Sam + Ben having more disagreements and fights things would’ve been fine. The days before the reveal computer was practically acting like an edgy MDE fan, and the fish were fine with it. In fact, they seemed to be enjoying themselves. Why? Because the shift was done subtly.

Looks to me like "Season 4" is going to be a direct lead-in to Bloodgames 2. My guess is they enjoy rugpulls so much that they thought it'd be funny to rugpull a whole season. Bloodgames 1 was notoriously under-watched because people didn't know what it was, so the wiggers decided to build a little more hype with a goofy, half-assed Season 4 trailer. I'm sure they'd prefer to go into Season 5 after BG2 anyway, it's just a better number for a big season.

Will the first moments look like a regular season? Will the fish be real contestants or actors? How long will the season run before the switch? Should be fun.

As an aside, how many blurred people in the trailer have been identified at this point?

That was my thought aswell since Jet is calling it a "Double feature", but that obviously cant be what is going to happen since they run out of steam 4 weeks into season 4 and the last two weeks will be a slog like usual. no way they are going to keep it going 8 weeks straight IMO

Either they are going to make the last two weeks of season 4 outdoors and call it bloodgames or have a break inbetween season 4 and BG2, most likely every single thing they say leading up to a season is bullshit though.

They did the same thing with the season 3 trailer and said the grand prize was 5 thousand dollars, but i think they ended up paying Burt something like 11k instead of the promised 50 thousand lmao.
