I'm a little disappointed with the new episode. The bed building segment should have been a bit longer, I'm not a big fan of how quick they make challenges like that, sometimes a slightly longer cut will feel more natural to watch then everything chopped up together so fast and it can make the footage funnier too. Skipping over TJ puking for the most part to just reference that he puked instead, and Sam getting that puke on him afterwards, or cutting out Frank using the wooden planks as darts on the wall. It's a shame. I still enjoyed seeing the HD footage of that challenge, that was one I was looking forward to seeing in the edit since it happened live.

But what really has me confused is leaving out the Grosses Thing challenge when Tay throws her puke and piss on Frank. It even felt like they were leading up to in when they showed Tay's confessional in the goon cave where she talked about how she needed to start defending herself and the music was slowly ramping up, I fully expected it to cut to Grossest Thing Challenge. But no, instead it randomly cut to Shinji in the attic with Judge. Why? The perfect segway was right there, it almost feels like Steinful intended to include it in that spot but accidentally left it out without realizing. To add insult to injury, They reference Shinji's jizz rag in the trash later on the episode which makes no sense without the context in Grossest Thing. This is like a season 1 level editing problem. I guess that's what we get for wanting the episodes weekly instead of bi-annually.

Dedicating 10 minutes of a 70 minute episode to the mediocre dating show segment (which has no impact on the overall "narrative" of the season) was way too much imo. I think it could have been included if the runtime was longer but as @BullfrogBill mentioned there is so much from during this period of the show which has been left on the cutting room floor for seemingly no reason.

1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

5 Stars — Peak Fishtank / Masterpiece. Non-stop insanity, legendary fish and production, pure chaos
