With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Jet is gay, but I firmly believe this is 40 boys gayops. The goal in the 2.5 gayops was to get a fan onto S3, and now Jon's whining Jet cancelled his plans. And why bring up Jimmy, when Jimmy wasn't part of anything?

The most appealing thing about Fishtank these days is simply seeing what they can get away with before some huge lawsuit or serious personal injury gets someone in trouble. For all we know there could many lawsuits already ongoing, or even payouts happening.

I think it's pretty obvious to most people, and likely to Jet (and Sam if he cares) that these Discord retards are using Jon as a tool to fuck with them. Jon himself doesn't have ideas like this on his own.

It's unlikely there's been anything major. One benefit of being an internet reality show is that your contestants are usually pretty stupid and poor. Basically nobody from Season 1 or 2 has the money to spare. The closest would probably be someone like the fag brought in for Famous House 2.0 and there's a pretty good chance he signed away most of his rights.

Jon seems to believe that to get Jimmy to join 2.5 as a cast member he was told there was a bonus payout if the fish achieved "the good ending." I don't believe Jimmy required such motivation to join the show or commit to it fully and would have been content to just wash rocks with soap and water for minimum wage if it meant he was able to hang with Tayleigh and Brian in person along with the other fish.

I do remember Jimmy talking about this in 2.5, towards the ending, and he did seem to think there was payment for the good ending, or some kind of prize in general. I'm not sure. I think it was on the day of the fight with Letty, maybe the Jon boxing day.

In spite of the "hell house" thesis, Fishtank in reality is a place where guys like Jimmy can succeed and have the time of their lives. I think that's one of my favorite parts of Fishtank, where if they just let themselves buy into the fantasy, you can make a loser like Alex B a great character people root for.

The Ciara stuff was talked about a lot during season 1. Jet is an r9k robot that supposedly groomed her and then she killed herself and people blame Jet and/or his dad.
