That.... was one hell of an episode. Really puts Jimmy's issues into the spotlight there and we haven't even gotten to the mallet incident yet. Meghan was boring, sure but I had no idea Jimmy was a big part of why she quit. Poor girl.

Also that bit with Brain's ex was great. And here I was thinking bringing Alex B's wife onto the show was the only time they did Jerry Springer drama.
 
The way they've edited Brian & CK is so funny.

We know now after the fact that CK is totally fucking insane, but in this episode when they are alone together she says and does almost nothing and basically the entirety of their interaction is just Brian berating her about how she never listens to him and is always wrong over and over while she either cries and apologizes or sits silently.

Jet would have never edited his dear Brian this way.

I found something interesting about Aperture. His house is on tribal land where the Mystic Lake Casino is.

This land and casino belongs to the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. According to this NYT article each tribe member makes about 1 million per year from the casino.

They touched on it briefly, him complaining the metal in the wood makes the nails bend and then him explaining it to a bewildered Ben but there should have been more. There were a lot of segments that got cut too much like that, like the Trish haircut scene which had so much more good stuff they cut like Sam saying through the hole in the door "this is not the face of a scared man" while Trish demands he get back in the room.

Rocco of Mega64 has been doing a weeklong stream called "The Room" very reminiscent of the cell from Fishtank, given that at least a couple members of Mega64 are MDE fans I bet they got the idea from Fishtank.

Anyway, it's pretty much what you'd expect, Rocco is trapped inside a room and tortured by the audience sending TTS etc., there is a "flashbang" gimmick that I hope FT copies for future cells:

Overall, it's a very Twitch-ified version of the cell, more sanitized as you'd expect but clearly influenced by FT.

It's interesting seeing Fishtank's influence on other streamers. In the words of Lemmy from Motorhead, who, when asked what he thinks about other bands copying him, replied "good luck to them, maybe they'll do something we can copy later." Garrett showed up last night and lit himself on fire, though maybe the wiggers shouldn't try to copy that.

ETA: in that Josie Anime Expo video she and Jon meet Garrett and head to the Mega64 booth and he fanboys out about FT at them and hooks them up with free shirts so I guess that confirms that.

Mega64, or at the very least Garrett are down with MDE; he did a PPS stream with Charles a couple of years back. Its been interesting to watch their copy of the cell, mostly because its being done with mostly good intentions but still with the goal of making main guy miserable. Is nice to see a cell attempt that didn't just degrade into physical violence and body fluids.
 
I know people can't help the way they look but CK's face is so "off" somehow. She looks like a Bull Terrier. Brian sucks though, fuck Brian.

Meg is one of the all time worst FT contestants and I have no pity for her. I had none for her when the show was live either, because she did fucking nothing. She was a fan who came on the show with full knowledge of what it was like. Jimmy is a violent retard, and he produces content. If I wanted to watch boring fat women, plenty of modern media offers this.
