On one of his streams a couple weeks ago someone donated and asked him a pointed question about kiwifarms and if he was a member and he said he is not a member of any forums

Jon interviewed Simbal on a twitter space. It's not that noteworthy aside from the fact that Jon mentions he's going to be doing an event in February that includes 10 contestants and will last 30 days, sounds like a fishtank spinoff.
This was from a couple weeks ago
Jon did a twitter space with Burt, and said he is doing another fishtank spinoff in February like he did over the summer. Says it will be on the fishtank site so i guess fish streams are coming back soon.
So it should be on the fishtank site from what he said back then, but that fact that its going to last 30 days is new info, also way beyond his capabilities to run for that amount of time

The Jon 40 Boys stream last time was Jon + few guys doing frat bro stuff to a couple of guys and got stale quick. They were also associates of his, one of them a retard like Jon sans speech impediment who was running for mayor of his small town and drank exclusively Dr. Pepper or something. Jon doesn't realize he's the joke still and never will.

I'm convinced that Jon is some local guy's personal pet lolcow and that's how he ended up on fishtank in the first place

Someone on /ftl/ found an old VOD of Binx talking about Fishtank before going on the show.
This confirms what we all suspected that she knew about the show beforehand and lied about not knowing.

One of the questions in AB's recent mega-poll is whether or not it would be unfair to have fans competing on the show with non-fans. Results are mixed. During the season it was often speculated in sneedchat that Binx was a fishtank fan, and people often argued that even if she was, it didn't really matter anyway.

The reason why having prior knowledge of the show was a massive unfair advantage in season 3 is because gaslighting was extremely important to Famous House. Staying on the show after it was revealed that the show is actually fishtank was an endurance test and a psychological challenge. Jet said the day of the reveal that they were expecting walk-offs, and for good reason. Being a fan of the show makes you immune to the gaslight of Famous House, the expectation that you are more famous than you actually are, and the paranoia experienced as a result of not knowing what is real and what isn't when it comes to production.

Laron - Laron left the show after the reveal because he had no idea what to believe anymore and couldn't trust a word production said. He genuinely believed he might get kidnapped or murdered. As stupid as this is, not trusting production after all of their gaslighting is a natural reaction. Fans like Binx did not have to experience this distrust, fear, and confusion once Fishtank was revealed. Laron failed a psychological test that Binx never had to endure.

Alexis - Alexis left the show because it wasn't what she signed up for (a niche internet livestream). This would never happen for a fan.

Payton - Payton had a hysterical breakdown after the reveal. Her turning around and embracing the fishtank is what many people believed to be proof of the strength of her character. She passed the endurance test and this gained her endorsements. Binx had no such test. It's not impressive that a fan would stick out the fishtank reveal and following challenges because they knew what they signed up for.

Alex B - Alex B doxxed himself and his family because he didn't know he was being livestreamed 24/7. This combined with his tremendous disappointment that he wasn't actually a Hulu star tore him down and made him angry with and distrustful of production ,which contributed to him walking off the show. He also had a breakdown over accidentally letting the n word slip because he thought he was on real TV.

Mizzy - Mizzy was convinced by Alex B's wife and step-daughter that nobody would get paid at the end of the show and this caused her to participate even less in challenges and constantly demand that she be kicked off the show (thinking she could potentially get paid if she was kicked but not if she walked). She essentially gave up and lost all motivation to compete. A fan of fishtank would know that they pay out their contestants.

The fish were treated with kid-gloves on season 3 compared to prior season contestants precisely because they didn't know what they signed up for. This alone should be proof enough that knowing what to expect is an advantage and allows you to endure more. Binx, by knowing what the show was, was essentially completely immune to all of the gaslighting of famous house, not affected at all by the disappointment, uncertainty, and fear that the reveal brought, and had a much easier time adjusting the the more hardcore elements of fishtank on weeks 3 and 4. The real reason it is an unfair advantage is because of gaslighting, which was more important in Season 3 than any other.

Side Note - Kiwifarms is NOT the community most vilified by fishtank fans.

>knew about FT
>knew about Sam Hyde
>defended a pedo regardless
>backpedaled as soon as she was out of the tank

Great job Binx, really knocked it out of the park with that 3000 IQ move
I don't think her saying that her friend told her about it means that she is intimately aware of all the ins and outs of the show and Sam. She did know of it and have a better idea of what was going on though.

She probably wasn't aware of the complete ins and outs of the show at the time of that clip. But she was one of the fish that received an email from the fishtank.live email address for her contract. If she didn't immediately start googling or asking her friends more about the show she would be legit 30 IQ.

At the very least she would have watched some of the S1 episodes and most likely some basic searches on Sam Hyde. If she watched the S1 episodes she would have learned about Simmons and how Sam treated him when they learned of his camp councilor book.

Tbh her knowing about it and keeping it a secret through the entire show kind of makes me like her a bit more. Fans should still not be included in future seasons though

Clipped:

She asks a chatter what Fishtank is, says a friend told her about it, but the chatter doesn't respond at all and it dies there. If my timeline is correct, Binx got the Fishtank email about the reality show in June or so, this clip is from April. She is dumb enough to not look it up at all before going on the show, though, and who knows exactly what her friend told her anyway. But she unquestionably knew about a show called Fishtank months beforehand.

But she unquestionably knew about a show called Fishtank months beforehand.

Potential evidence she knew more than just the name of the show and a few vague things:

1. Binx went straight for Lil Maejok on day 1 and carried him around with her everywhere for a long time. I figured this was because she knew Lil Maejok was a fan-favorite prop and wanted to get fans right away.

2. Binx knew who airsoftfatty was when they looked at the fishtank coloring books, but didn't know who idubbz was when she watched the Sam doc on her stream. This means she either knows him from being a meme separate from the idubbz doc, or she watched fishtank enough to see him on the show. Could also mean she pretended to not know who idubbz was to keep up the lie that she was unfamiliar with Sam Hyde going into season 3.

3. Binx watched Ice Poseidon hunger games and specifically mentioned the clip of Letty being captured by the Koreans. This could just be her keeping up with Ice Poseidon. Also it would be a retarded move on her part to reveal this if she was trying to keep secret that she watched fishtank.

4. Binx reacted positively to the fishtank reveal and showed 0 signs of surprise or uncertainty.

5. Binx was extremely nervous to the point of crying during the lie detector test. She says this was because of the sexual history questions and not the question about whether or not she knew what fishtank was before going on the show. I think it was both. Jet told her she failed one question and she said she knew which one it was. When Jet told her it was the black guy question, she seemed relieved.

None of this is ironclad so we have to take Binx at her word or speculate. I am of the opinion that she watched the show.

Binx should have been an early elimination, fucking cheater. Can't be too disappointed by it since the Binx ending was her getting dropped off next to dumpsters, trash, and hookers on the side of a random run down street in Vegas off camera and no one cared lmao
