With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

Not sure how long I can take fatty still being there as they're culling everyone else. His endless, meandering pontificating is without question, my least favorite thing about this show. He's only funny when he's getting tortured and whining about being victimized.
 
Now that I think about it, they ran a few polls last night testing the waters. One was whether people like the OG cast more or whether they were warming up to the new cast; the vote went highly in favor of OG cast. Another I remember was who, among the new cast, people had warmed up to the most, the choices being Lilly, Star, or Sky. Star got 70%, Lily got 20%, Sky got next to nothing. Turbo wasn't even on the list; but it doesn't matter anyway, because they kicked everyone and kept Lilly. They probably would have kicked Turbo sooner if they hadn't gotten some kino interactions last night with Alex Stein, and Kuwait trying to rizz her up. Probably geld back the Sword of Damocles for one more night

Probably should have expected eliminations today, in hindsight. There's only a few days left, so expect more eliminations, probably every day.

Ay Tone got eliminated.

It's the same thing every season. They bring him out but after a day or two he wears thin on the audience and the contestants and it's just endless hours of him hollering.

They're trying to convince Lily to go downstairs to be with Tony, because he has an "ID Scrambler" and she'll never see him again if she doesn't leave again (and also Binx is "packing right now" and also has an ID scrambler). This bit is not very funny.
Edit: Tony had gotten kicked because they pretended to have accidentally got his accounts locked for fraud after trying to pay a bank payment

He should have just been there for half a day. I like his cameo appearance early on.

Also then just firing all the new people makes it seem like Sam told Jet to fuck off and is having Vance wipe everyone. Jet even wanted Brandon to stay 3 days. But Vance is knocking it down to just 6 people
 
It would have been funnier to just sit all these people down and tell them they were only brought onto the show as props. These bits are just stupid.

I'm actually enjoying this bit. Vance just axing niggas cause he forgot which color the gem was is funny.
