Burt retreated to the hallway bathroom and is weeping; some of the girls tried to help him clean himself. Is drag itself inherently sexual? Not necessarily. Modern drag? Yes. Historically? No. But it has always been for adult audiences because the history of drag is a lot more layered than just men dressing up as women as an AGP extension. The real roots of drag are from the days of stage performances when both genders were played by a male cast so a female character had to be given exaggerated features and an exaggerated performance to make it obvious they were playing a woman. Which is where these exaggerated styles come from, and the over the top performances. Not just strutting around lip syncing while collecting tips.

Rupaul's self-fellating show, the alphabet community using it as a vessel for grooming and abuse, and the social media era really fucked it all up. Because it wasn't always like this. I say this as an outsider who can appreciate the historical relevance of drag but otherwise couldn't give a fuck. But my inner history autist screams every time retards like this try to debate the "ethics of drag" when they literally have no idea what the fuck they're talking about. The fags and the niggers love to rewrite history and pretend that their version is right and everyone else is wrong.
