With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Yeah it kinda started off bad when she needed Jobe to actually drive it. I had hope, but every time I give Mizzy praise, she finds a way to make me regret it.

Jet never said when elimination is, he just said it's "soon". I assume she has more time to keep it up. It's only been like 20 minutes. It might have escalated more had the wiggers not stepped in to deflate the situation.

Also I just need to put this out there and it’s ok if I’m wrong, but I think Burt is an actor/plant, he’s too perfect for this role.

Also, it's really funny that this season has an ex-fish tarding out about a 10-minute delay when we have Burt reading out the time on request.
 
Is anyone else completely shocked at the fact Nifty has actually been kind of entertaining since she came back? Like there are multiple times she's made me laugh. It's so weird I remember her doing nothing in season 2.

I think he would've done a better job at deciphering the clues if he were really an actor. He literally made zero progress and just kept repeating the same nonsense over and over for three weeks.

I kinda agree with you, but the only thing that betrays this being possible is that he has I think never been down to the basement in production, so he is basically always on camera and his discussions with production people can be followed. Unless he has like an earpiece in the bathroom or some shit, it's not really possible for them to have given him a mission/purpose that would've taken into account everything that has happened so far - stuff like him sniffing Frank's shoe can only be an action he wanted to do himself.

I mean if you take the typical definition of what a livestream is, then their confusion makes a lot of sense.

It was never explained as being a parallel livestream where every camera is live all the time. I don't watch reality TV but I don't think even Big Brother lets you switch between cameras.
If this were just the director cam being streamed on Twitch or some shit then it would probably have to incorporate things like replays, multi-cams and showing the confession videos when things get boring and naughty parts would get censored out. So it would still technically be "live" but moments like Jeff screaming like a retard presumably wouldn't be shown as the main form of content (which they are very often in the case of fishtank)
