With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

Everyone's just sitting around waiting for a resolution. It's not clear if Alex is leaving or not... they're all just sat there while Alex walks around ranting (except for Simbal, who is still in the confessional picking his nails). Even his wife has shut up and looks zoned out, watching the balls get thrown.

The periodic cuts to cymbalta having what appears to be a genuine existential crisis or sense of existential dread are pretty Neptunian. I don't think anyone knows what the fuck is going on right now.

I don't see balls on the fishtoys list, but maybe that's because I haven't bought the season pass. How much are the balls?

Edit: at 200 tokens, they're roughly $24 each.

Ben and Jet have been coming out every few minutes with a stack of papers, on each paper is a person's username, they read it off and then throw a random colored ball from a bag of balls.

It is adding to the total chaos and confusion right now.

Pretty great.

Frank and Alex seem to be bonding by having a cigarette and a chat.

I've been recording the entire time, so we'll have an entire archive from the moment she entered the house until she leaves. IT WILL NOT BE LOST TO TIME! (I'll also back it up in three places, this is too good to become lost media.)

I don't know if anyone else clipped it, but there was a point before dinner started and they were alone in the penthouse. Alex and Hog Wife were on Jobe's bed, frotting rigorously. Alex's shirt was raised and his pants unzipped, but he could not make purchase because fat. She was going to flip around, but he suggested they fuck in the bathroom. She was disgusted by this suggestion. I'm going to guess that she either has to be on top or they do it from behind as the default. He would have to carry some serious stick to make his way up there in a conventional position.

Seeing her in the harsh light of the Den PTZ camera without her sunglasses on, without the TikTok beautifying filters makes it all the more horrifying. Jesus Christ Alex, it's okay to be into extreme degradation and edgeplay but subjecting the public to it without their consent violates the laws of the kink community. Do better.

You are a god among men. I wish we had more of these for each season. Bitchtank is almost completely lost media at this point, as is most of the downtime during 2.5.

He flopped his boner out and waved it showing the camera how "hard" he was. It was like 3 inches.

Sam is telling Payton and Conner about the pitfalls of e-fame. They're spooked,

I didn't catch this but surprised that "the pitfalls of e-fame" aren't common knowledge at this point. KF may be a bit esoteric and have a weird reputation, but YouTube is filled with feature length, well edited "lolcow documentaries" (that now even encompass major ecelebs) that all have millions or even tens of millions of views.

There's countless movies about the same thing too from years ago, like The King of Comedy

It's clear the wiggers are learning from past mistakes. Did they repeat the stupid pattern of going after one of their best moneycows and content creators too hard and almost losing them? Yes. Did they have to basically negotiate and beg for him to stay? Yes. Luckily, they're hitting Alex's weakness right now, the gaslight. If they can somehow find a way to keep Alex on the show after this and prevent an premature eliminations from this fiasco, it will be quite an accomplishment.

They will escape by the skin of their teeth, and maybe this is the wake up call the wiggers need to stop with the targeting and sudden shifts in pace. The real trick is going to be getting Alex to stay after it's revealed Binx wasn't eliminated. I want Production to succeed here.
