With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Other than joking around that Jon gay, like Letty does with every guy she comes into contact with. Not really. As far as I know, when they had their big falling out, she just cut him out and never said anything about him while Jon went through his usual routine of begging for forgiveness, only to eventually go back to running his mouth.
If someone shows a consistent pattern of behaviour and never changes despite making overtures, being eager to forgive and move on does not make you virtuous; it makes you a tool.
 
It appears fan paid loot drops are happening, some staff member is out delivering McDonalds and other stuff to a group of contestants. So I guess they really are just going to go drive around and deliver shit instead of having a drop off location?

She also said everyone gets two electrolyte drinks, guess they're sick of contestants being on the brink of passing out. I don't get why they weren't doing this sooner, why didn't their hired EMTs tell them that water isn't enough when you're out running around in very hot temperatures?

Ice is up in a helicopter looking for contestants to shoot and drop tear gas loot on. Yesterday he tried doing this in a car but the contestants would hear him coming and run into the woods, where the car couldn't go. Ice is hoping the helicopter will make it faster and easier for him to see and hit the contestants. I admit this is pretty funny, I feel like I'm watching some war crime being committed. He just dropped some tear gas loot and then before leaving shot two contestants. "Get closer so I can really hurt these guys" is what he told the pilot.

Some guy flying with Ice asks "How do I avoid shooting them in the head from here?" Ice says "Who cares, just shoot them."

Okay that would be cool but when did Jon beg anyone for forgiveness? He had the fallout with Sam and Jet after S1, but I don't recall anything like that ever happening.

Letty never said anything about Jon? You really believe the terminally online discord girl who yaps online all day never said anything negative about Jon. Okay!

The Jon haters are so delusional, they just make up fantasies in their head (gay, begging for forgiveness, etc). I guess they feel intimidated by Jon getting closer to the piss witch, so they make things up. That's why this season is good, Jon is finally getting a fair shot at it without jealous audience interference.

In S2.5, Jon came in giving everyone an empty slate. Obviously he was on edge for what happened during S1, but Jimmy was the aggressor for all conflict between the 2 of them.
 
Someone named Eli has went rogue, taken off his vest and is hiding in the woods. He's making death threats to Ice via twitter and has been sneaking and pissing on contestants gear when they're not paying attention. There's been 3 SUVs full of cops looking for him for hours and they've not found him.

The "Jon is gay" thing doesn't come from nowhere, Jon acts gay a lot and then later gets really defensive whenever anyone points it out. In S1, he and Simmons were being gay as hell, getting body massages and touching each other constantly during "training". I thought maybe Jon wasn't gay, just highly autistic and clueless of how he and Simmons came across, but my opinion has changed over time. Jon seems to know very well what is considered weird and gay for straight men to do, as he will call out other guys that do gay shit, yet he keeps doing gay shit and then crying about it whenever anyone makes jokes about it.

Example, him blowing up over someone putting purple lipstick on him in S2.5, Jon freaked out and said he didn't want to look gay (Even though no one except him thought it was gay). The reaction is completely overblown; why is he so upset over wearing lipstick but perfectly okay with getting a intimate body massage from Simmons?

Another thing some people forget is that during S1 Jon's social media accounts were found, where he was doing that gay looking modeling shit and is friends with a very flamboyant gay photographer.

I think another reason Jon comes across as gay is that for someone who claims to be a straight traditional Alpha male, he doesn't seem interested in women. The only time I've ever seen him act remotely interested in a woman was when he seemed flirtly with Letty during the S1 cell challenge, other than that he never seems interested in women, yet always seems soooo happy and touchy with men. Even today he was being gay hugging up SlightlyHomeless and Gooner.

I knew several socially retarded autistic kids through my public education and none of them did anything like the shit with Jon and Simmons. I def think there is something deeper to it.

Speaking of dehydration, after the helicopter ride (which was really fun to watch), Ice and Fousey go back to the main house and Ice talks about how for the show he takes Adderall, barely sleeps, and has barely eaten or drank anything. He drinks some pickle juice and continues complaining that he's seeing spots and getting dizzy. Then he eats a light snack of watermelon, at that point Ice's stream turned into a janky restream of Fousey's as Fousey had just gone live and I gave up watching for the day. Ice might keel over next.

I think Jon is great content but he definitely has some weird behavior/expectations with men, that is really hard to deny.
