It took Jon over 12 hours but we finally got a stream from him that isn't pointed at the sky or muted.

Edit: Not long after I posted this we're back to sky cam

Jon leaked that Season 3 is going to start in October.

One thing I found annoying in Fish Tank 2.5 was how the staff didn't fill the loot crates that were scattered across the woods. It was a good idea that was never used. The fish gave up checking the crates after they kept coming up empty.

Ice is doing the opposite and leaving stuff around. According to Ice, he dropped a ton of loot all over the map. However, the only issue with this is that the map is absolutely massive, and a lot of the stuff is not in a box/crate but is put in trees or under bush where it's hard to see. On the one hand it makes things more interesting and random, on the other hand I have a feeling most of the loot will never be found.

This is such a cluster fuck. Ice is out delivering batteries to the contestants since everyone's phones keep dying. Other contestants let him know that the vests aren't working again. Ice looks like he's dead inside. Ice tries to explain how the vests work again but it's really pointless, the vests suck. Now everyone has so many points that even after being beaten up to a pulp it's not registering. A staff member tells Ice that some vests are super sensitive and causing deaths to not register, Ice tries to argue and say they're all the same sensitivity, "I tested them myself" he says. The staff member doesn't let up and tells Ice to try it again. Ice tries a very, then says "you have to hit them a certain way".

It's so annoying how Ice keeps trying to blame everyone else for these shitty vests. Just accept the L and stop using them. Now Ice is telling staff to just manually decrease life from the program. Staff does not want to do it because it's a lot of work.

To add to this perfect explanation , there is also the addendum - an amplifier, an augmentation if you will: "Neptunian chemo", a term often used in pure sarcasm or slight ribbing at the attempt at creating "Neptunian Kino". The scene is still okay, but more funny/humorous than excellent due to its oftentimes forced nature. The worst one is Goranian Chemo, which is basically just a whole condemnation of the scene.
I like how Fishtank now has incomprehensible chan derived slang only the diehards understand. Welcome to being a Vtuber fan in 2021.

"Slang" or informal conversation is a large part of any community/group. This has been around since the dawn of language. The fact that we are documenting it for you should be worthy of praise.

A contestant has quit, said the game is rigged and the rules keep changing, main complaint is that some contestants have two phones and can check the map while other's can't. I can't say I blame him for wanting to quit, it's pretty obvious things have not gone as planned and Ice is just making shit up as he goes along.

edit: Lol a contestant (DBR) has passed out.

DBR is passing out in a bush. Ice and crew eventually arrive near DBR and proceed to honk the horn and tell him to get up and come to the road. DBR is sluggish and says he's okay, eventually gets up and goes to Ice, where they tell him to drink some water. Some of the crew gives him different advice, like telling him to take his shirt off and helmet off. Another staff said she had some electrolytes but doesn't know where it is. :story: While this is happening, another staff is trying to reach them but as usual the walkie talkies aren't working. Eventually they find some electrolytes.

According to one staff member, they have two EMTs and an ambulance on set 24 hours a day.

i was watching letty's stream briefly and one of the other contestants was saying that apparently if your streaming phone dies you lose the game. if true what a trash fire of a set up ice has. battery life on smartphones streaming tends to suck. so far i am baffled, maybe not really, how he had so much time to set this up and it looks more and more like it was all last minute preparations.

vests should have been well tested and proven to work in the field. rule should have been well thought out ahead of time. the contestants should have been given prep time, like spending time making sure they all know how to get their streaming stuff working at the location, changing batteries, etc. also make sure they know the rules ahead of time.

here is a suggestion, maybe do a trial run ahead of time with the people who will be running it. have a couple of production guys act as contestants, a couple act as hunters, etc and see what works, what doesn't, what needs changing, etc.

ice actually has a pretty good set up to make a interesting show. 1K acres to play on,being out in the middle of texas means no neighbors to file noise complains, a live maps system, gps devices to showing where each player is (actually something i complained about in S2 and in 2.5, fishtank should show where the fish are). sad to see all that go to waste.

There are practically no hard rules and it's the first full day. PvP is completely busted which is the primary component. Ice blames everyone and everything but himself.
Last night I watched Ice watching one of the contenders complaining and doing the whole "Let's see him pull off something like this..." over and over. Poetic.

The first has fallen.

Imagine how much better this would have been if it had happened in the spring or fall.

Not to mention the few people that have spoken up about how shit his show is, Ice has turned around and told them they are going to be tear-gassed.

Multiple contestants are complaining that they were promised that the audience would be able to buy them loot, but that hasn't happened yet. I'm assuming the crew didn't realize how difficult it would be to try and drive around 1,000 acres delivering multiple loot packages to 50 contestants.

On Fish Tank this is a lot of work, and it's much smaller with less people, so I imagine it's a nightmare and wastes a ton of gas and manpower trying to make this work.

yeah, having a bunch of city clickers run around outside in texas during august inst smart.

with vehicles and gps showing exact locations, i dont think it would be that difficult unless it is a lot of loot at once. a way i think to do it would be to have loot drop off times. set certain times through day/night to deliver. then just deliver all the current loot at that time. could also have set loot drop off locations. could make it interesting to see since that would set up potential ambush locations for the contestants.

how many people does he have working production? if he has two or three people capable of driving then it is manageable.

It's an ambiguous, terrible system. You pay I think $200 and say anything (within reason) you want delivered and the claim is it will get to the contestant at some time in the future. I think if they decide what you want delivered is unreasonable, they keep the money and don't deliver it.

I was trying to find that but it's no longer visible or I'm being an idiot. The iceposeidon.com domain isn't even set up properly.

This has been a amazing shitshow to experience. It seems like a majority of the content today has been Ice trying to tard wrangle his OF whores and ball washers to actually try and work, but not only that there's the sheer amount of technical issues up and down the board from the vests, none of the systems working properly, barely any open loot, people too afraid to engage so they just sit around all day, people passing out in the heat. I feel like actual game itself feels incomprehensible at this point. I've been switching between a few people and they've just all complained about the amounting issues that they're already having with the entire thing.

I don't think at any point in Fishtank have I felt like things were this dire from a production and content standpoint. I can't wait for him to pull up in that helicopter and it's a big wet fart.

A small update on DBR: Sam Pepper (who is running Ice's multicam right now) called Ice, who clarified that DBR is not out, but with the EMTs. Ice says he will be allowed back in the game, but the ambulance people will not let him in to talk to DBR while he's being treated. Sam also showed a picture of DBR in the ambulance on stream, with a hurting DBR on a stretcher and two elderly EMTs looking confused.

EDIT: Right now, Ice is fixing Eli's vest. Eli has been hiding in a bush for the past 11 hours because his vest was at 32% with no combat. He was going to stay still for god knows how long so he didn't get eliminated. Even with Sam telling him Ice was on the way, he still thought it was a trap. Content, fellas.

DBR apparently pissed himself, and is being taken to McDonalds after being treated in the ambulance. Other contestants are complaining about the food, they want carbs or protein, not apples and fruit smoothie MRE.

One contestant has been sleeping all day. He said it's because every time he walks, he loses life. So now Ice is trying to get him a new vest. Jesus Christ, just stop trying with these vests.

Locating the contestants isn't the issue, it's trying to do live loot drops as they happen. Even on Fish Tank 2.5, which was much smaller and had less people, it takes a lot of manpower to prepare a bunch of loot and then deliver it and have the Fish shout out to whoever bought it. And that's not including purchase fuck ups and refunds on top of all of that.

The loot isn't just for the contestants, you have to make the people who bought it feel like they're getting their money's worth or they won't want to buy anything. If Ice is planning to do something similar to Fish Tank, there simply isn't enough people to get shit delivered live like on Fish Tank. The only way I see this working is having a specific time and place for loot drops to be made. Even then, there have been so many fuck ups and miscommunication that I don't see it working.

It's an ambiguous, terrible system. You pay I think $200 and say anything (within reason) you want delivered and the claim is it will get to the contestant at some time in the future.
yeah it was 200 or thereabouts. i remember seeing it on the hunger games website and thinking it was an absurd amount to send loot to someone. wanted to send something to letty, but not for that price.

i wish jet would have gone on, he would just be smug about how much of a shitshow it is right now, but he might learn something about being on the receiving end of the shit sandwich production is serving up.
might help him get some perspective for future seasons.

also have to admit this is what i expected bloodgames to be, jet respect is at record highs

Can somebody post any of the clips from the 4ft of July bloodgames battle Royale? I want to revisit what I thought was the peak of bloodgames to really appreciate how awful this hunger games shit is lol
