With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

I think powEnvy was a good fit for the show. ( X / tiktok )
He made a few recaps that I though were interesting, it may have slipped under the cracks a little bit. He did one for day 1, 2 and 5.

Watched Abi's reaction, she was fucking mad lol. She said "I guess if they want the bad ending" and closed the site over and over and opened it over and over to see if it was real, and called Haley a bitch.


Sodaman and Jimmy are streaming together.

Forgot to add this part - I wanna say about $50 take, 80 viewers.
  • Duanyay asked Jimmy to drive him from the airport to the tank which is why he was ever there. Jet had considered having Jimmy on but decided that they're trying to keep the show focused and wrap it up if Jimmy showed up he's too popular and it would derail the show and upstage the girls the way that Greg and Xavier upstaged them but worse.
  • Jimmy says he was rooting for everyone on BT by the end but Shadi the most. Sodaman didn't watch it.
  • Jimmy asked Sodaman about why people have been telling him he and tay "ruined 2.5." Sodaman said people who hate him hate him no matter what and 2.5 wasn't going to change their opinion and they were just mad to be reminded he exists. Then said Jimmy's funny and talented, and production likes him and working with him.
  • Sodaman on tay: all the hate on tay were emotionally frustrated weirdos who thought she was going to be their online girlfriend and were personally scorned when she got a boyfriend
  • On Letty: Sodaman says Letty doesn't smell, Sodaman says that was just a bit. jimmy says "it wouldn'tve gone the way it did in the cell" if she did. Jimmy gives her kiss on the cheek a 10/10.
  • On Xavier: Jimmy was impressed on how fast Xavier was able to characterize them and them make fun of them. Sodaman and Xavier apologized personally for the Tay thing because he was doing an exaggerated parody of the fan response and was not up to date on the streams. Tay responded that they were all pulling from the same "jungian unconscious" which is a weird response.
  • On Jon: Sodaman would pay him silver to fuck off and argue with other people and let him do his job. Jon would enter the shed every morning and steal things and steal food from the fridge in the house. He had to wake up early in the morning after not sleeping enough to chase Jon out of the house. He was talented and good television but his thing is being frustrating. Jon caused a massive cloud of flies by knocking over the lobster shells and Sodaman told him to "find who did it" for silver to give himself time to work and that's what caused the Jimmy & Jon fight. His method was to steer him to bother someone else or else he just attacks whoever is near him. Sodaman was used to people going offscript from D&D but having a player decide to hate him and make his life hell on purpose is not part of that.
  • There was no good ending or bad ending or greg ending, they were just going to do whatever was funniest. Jimmy said he took it very seriously and Sodaman says it was better he got into it and tried to do well rather than not get invested.
  • On the racoon: Sodaman told him he shouldn't respond to attacks and not to die, but he came back all fucked up because of how hard they tried.
  • Tai: Tai fucked people up in fights, he magdumped Sodaman during the finale. Sodaman lost it and slugged him in the head with a sword and screamed "you're out of ammo." Tai approached him after and said he wanted to make peace.
  • Sodaman said there were serious talks of going longer but everyone was exhausted. Jimmy's coworker filled in for him every day even though multiple people were supposed to fill in, so it would've prevented him from staying longer anyway because that guy needed relief. They missed a major heatwave by stopping anyway.
  • There is a "scarface room" in the house that Sodaman and Jimmy both want to use for something. Sodaman wants Jimmy to be on so he can work with him again. Jimmy saw production as "bosses" during 2 and 2.5 and is having trouble seeing them as friends and gets awkward around them. Sodaman says he still treats most of them as bosses.
  • Sodaman wrote the Creature x Jimmy bit and feels bad about it, he wanted to write a segment where Jon does alpha training and none of the girls would show interest in him. But at the last minute someone gave Jon the W by giving him a charisma potion and it derailed the intended joke and looked meaner spirited than written.
  • What pissed him off with creature most was killing Tay off. Sodaman said he wanted to ask Creature why she did that but didnt get the chance to. She told Jimmy she had said to sacrifice either Tay or Jimmy so it was Jet's discretion.
  • The Cell was Jet's idea. He approached Sodaman and explained what a Cell is and said it would involve locking them up for a day or two and that stressed Sodaman out because there wasn't time for that. It started on the spur of the moment at the end of the lockbox mission when Jet sprang it. Says it went well when both cells were going on at once.
  • The first time Sodaman took caffeine power it burnt his nose "like real blow does" and he worried it was real for a moment and thought he would have to call his sponsor. He ran up to Jimmy right after "wide eyed, like, YOU!!" and JImmy told him it wasnt real. The drug test was a bit to fuck with Sodaman because he still wasn't convinced it wasn't real cocaine.
  • Someone who Jimmy thought was Shady was in Jimmy's chat and Jimmy's voice shot up an octave saying "oh hiiiiII shady!!" And it wasn't her.
  • Sodaman was at Jet's birthday and met juliana there. Said he had an Ok time but something made it not as fun for him but can't get into it. Jet gave him his debit card and sent him to the liquor store with a shopping list: 4 mexcals, 6 tequilas, 100 white claws, sprite mixers etc, 2 bottles of whiskey. When he returned Jet asked what was the damage, he said $600, Jet said good.
  • There was a bit where they were talking about Ben and Jet, Sodaman said he is impressed by their ability to improvise and deliver lines, Jimmy said he struggles with planning and entering scenes and reacts to things instead but Ben and Jet are experts at leading scenes
  • Jimmy's stream dropped and when people were posting F Tayleigh was one of them even though she hadn't been chatting
  • People tell Sodaman he looks like Andy Shauf or Maynard James Keenan apparently. Jimmy says people tell him he looks like Dean Ween.
  • Jimmy says he is picking someone else up from the house tonight - maybe Duanyay? That nigger needs Uber. I thought maybe it was Shadi but he said it's a guy, I think. He more or less confirmed it was Duanyay at the end when he said he's bringing a pre-roll with him for Duanyay.

Tayleigh deserves no sympathy. For like 3 months she pandered to people on /bant/. She used their inside jokes and lingo. She did things just because they thought it was cute. She used their fanart for every single stream thumbnail. Then she got a boyfriend and didn't need their attention anymore so she started acting like she always thought they were creepy and weird.

I believe this is what redditors would call "leopards eating her face"

Yeah you don’t get to complain about production making jokes about your stalker after you called him up on stream and used him for content. She also did the whole “free speech absolutist” thing and would refuse to ban any of the crazies in her chat. There’s a reason why there were never any /bant/ meltdowns when Letty got with Tax or when Taylor got with TJ. Tayleigh whining that her fanbase is filled with parasocial simps after pandering to them for months is just ridiculous.

Not sure if he's a simp, but these people have warped sense of reality where 4chan is the center of the world. 4chan is full of parasocial losers therefore everyone who hates Tay is exactly that. Just like 4chan says KF is some darknet tier criminal forum therefore it is.
