I’m not the biggest RomanceTank/KissTank fan to begin with, but when there seems to be some real romantic interest developing between the Fish Production gets involved way too early and ends up making things feel forced and awkward, basically killing any natural content that could form.

They made Letty and Jon go on a date in season one after they got close, I don’t even want to talk about how many fake things Trish did because Production told her to, they made TJ and Taylor kiss within a day of knowing each other, and now they’re doing the same thing with Jimmy and Letty. At least with this I don't think they really fucked up, I think it was kind of on Jimmy. Production stepped in because Jimmy chose to sit really close to Letty on the bed and she didn't move away and got comfy so Ben came up and said 'this is an audience thing, the audience asked us to run the dating challenge from earlier ' and that would've been fine because the audience was fully rabid to see what the two of them were thinking at that point and it passed as not being suspicious because Dave Zoltar and Oddbod had already done it. it might've been the end of their interference I think if Jimmy hadn't started trying to pass secret notes blowing the whole thing up.
If he had openly said "do you wanna get outta here" they probably still would've pushed it but he invited it by blue balling the audience and forcing Ben to step in.
