With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

If we assume the commissioned art (Jon, Jimmy, Letty, Tai, Tayleigh, and Vance) reveals the 6 actual contestants, who are you excited for?
I have faith that all of them will produce funny content except for Tayleigh. I'm probably most excited for Letty because it's a surprise, but I am seriously wondering how they expect her to stick it out. Seeing a NEET try to rough it out in the woods for 2 weeks will be good on its own. I'm also hoping Letty and Tayleigh have a cat fight because I'm pretty sure they would absolutely hate each other.

The only one I'm not excited for is Vance. He spent season 1 being a pussy unwilling to do anything because of muh morals after hyping himself up with the Vancepill shit. The others have all been great contestants in some way, I know for sure that Tai will be really funny.

I'm concerned because Vance has been on the 'production' end now and I feel like he'll both expect better treatment and also probably be given it knowing the wiggers.

What makes me insane is he's so easy to fuck with. I take no pleasure in predicting with 100% certainty that Jon, Jimmy, and Tayleigh will be beaten within an inch of their lives and Vance will kick his feet up and say "maybe they wouldn't treat you like that if you were better people"

meanwhile all they have to do to make Vance want to ragequit is force him to sleep in the girl's tent

Totally agree with your take on Vance's season 1 performance, but I think he is capable of being funny on his own and not relying on reactions of other contestants . Assuming there will be a lot of time spent alone this season because they have bodycams, then I think the only two who will be funny by themselves reacting to TTS are Vance and Tai. Vance is good by himself (prank call streams, production going upstairs from season 2, schizo vance). There will be less of an element of "playing the social game" this time around I hope.
I think Jon, Jimmy, and Letty will be insufferable to listen to by themselves and tayleigh will just be boring like she was during her "crochet podcast" in season 2. Jon Jimmy and Letty, though, are great for the reactions they evoke in other contestants.

Jon and Jimmy should be funny spergs although Jon might just shut down again eventually. Letty I'm uncertain about how she'll perform in a roleplay heavy show in the woods, and Tay should be alright. the crochet podcasts were done with by the 2nd half of the season and she proved that she's a great contestant when reacting to stuff and having a vendetta against someone (e.g. Frank and Fatty). Tai should be really funny on his own, like he was while playing Portal and Half-Life 2 up in B1.

As annoying as this would be Vance getting special treatment would be enjoyable in the sense that we would all hate him and look forward to his downfall. That’s how I got enjoyment out of him in season one. He’s a guy you love to hate.

It’s all about how they bounce off of each other. Any fish by themselves is pretty bland, but this group does have some potential for some good interactions. Mostly looking forward to how Jon and Letty will interact as well as how Vance will feel about Letty and the two tards. He’s very easy to annoy.
