  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Twitch is better for discoverability. Mostly the only people streaming on Youtube are the ones who got paid to do so or are banned or doing content that breaks Twitch's ToS but not Youtube's.

Genuinely curious where you're from that you haven't heard that before? I say man and dude all of the time to everyone, including to women, and they say it all the time too. That's been a gender neutral slang for like, ever lol. Only time I see anyone criticizing that term when using it towards women are batshit SJWs and troons, and even then it's only the really fringe ones that care.

There are very few people coming out of s1 or 2 who I think could afford to risk months of effort building up a twitch following against the odds that they will accidentally say faggot

Damiel tried to start on twitch and said faggot within about 40 minutes and was gone. I rarely watch Brian but last time I checked in he was roasting fat women on Tinder (bad idea) using a lot of words he shouldn't and misgendering someone. It's by the grace of God he's not banned. Abi got banned for some time already for saying "beaner." I still don't understand how Betty is still on there.

I think Greg, Meg, Cole, JC (obviously), and maybe Taylor would be able to reliably go a year without getting themselves banned and everyone else would inevitably say something by accident.
 
Tay's stream broke at the last 10 minutes from some sort of connection issue so she called it a night after nearly 5 hours. She started a second stream for about 10 minutes and gave an emotional goodbye where she was fighting back tears while thanking the viewers. Earlier in the stream she talked about how she enjoyed the streams so much because it was basically the only socialization she got with people regarding her interests aside from a friend she only got to see on weekends if the friend wasn't busy.

Kick would be a better choice if they did not want to go to youtube because at least you can say faggot, its much more suited to the degenerates who would actually discover and watch them.
Youtube of course is best because you can shoot up fent and not get banned.

The problem I've seen with Kick is it just halves their viewership at best. At worst it's a fourth. People don't make kick accounts and don't want to follow people to Kick.

It's probably a good idea to restream there, in case, but I've seen a few of them try it, gouge their own views and switch back.

edit: I was saying the other day how in comparison to Trish, Sylvia just has more going on in her life and her streams are worth watching on occasion due to that sort of human interest. I think I'm overdue to update the thread with it

Atm id say the main appeal of the watching Trish is seeing how the stream will inevitably fall apart. Last stream the lag was so bad it was like watching something from 2007. Before that was Trish attempting to construct a desk despite seemingly having absolutely no idea what she was doing lol
 
Bunch of streams tonight. Tayleigh (300 avg) ate a hot chip at the start of her stream, Jimmy (80 avg) was in her chat begging her not to do it. It impacted the rest of her stream, the way pain I guess does. She plays GTA for a bit then has to stop relatively early for a Tay stream.

Jimmy excused himself from hers to go live himself, and while they were both streaming she called him, which was a pretty funny crossover and massively boosted his donos and views. It's back to what I said about Sylvia, how the process of learning how to use Streamlabs to bring on guests is laborious and has to be done live with a guest sitting and testing it so nobody's ever bothered to learn except Sylvia. They just called each other like it was an old Teamspeak call and played two different games while giggling about whatever they were doing and where's her cat Nebby at what toys he had around him. It's really funny how the first thing she said about Jimmy on stream was that she was afraid to stream with him but since he's stopped talking about Tank shit she's come sliding back in with him.

Aperture, a major paypig, smashes Jimmy's $200 goal to "chug an entire sake bottle in honor of Shinji." He drank it and got drunk, which was unwise...

Brian did an advice call-in stream as he usually does and Jimmy called into the discord and got wrangled by his faggot janitors - they assumed he was shitfaced (I'll be honest, he wasn't actually that drunk at that point, they were being preemptively shitty) and tried to get him to leave but Brian wanted him in. Apparently they're meeting up next week in Vermont and Brian's got some plans for Jimmy while he's there.

Tay joined his chat again after ending hers and was just generally around until the end of it, which makes what I'm about to get into pretty awkward.

By the end he was pretty drunk and some chatters spotted the opportunity to get Jimmy to blab.

There' s a bit of ambiguity - they get him talking about fishy and he says his GF isn't fishy.
Someone says: "tay was destined to be mrs downey in another timeline"
at the same time someone else says "SHE WAS INTO YOU BRO SHE WAS ALL OVER YOU ON THE SHOW"

Which was either about the first message (Tayleigh being destined to be Mrs Downey) or the second message (Fishy being obviously into him)(which doesn't make sense with what he said - she was obviously into him..? it's her only character trait)
Then "I'm too intoxicated for this. And the implications of it make me very depressed to be honest. I don't like being a heartbreaker."

He yawned a bunch of times, which I think is really the reason he ends up with a tear on his face but went "Why am I crying? Fuck, something happened, didn't it......" and finally went to bed

I was gonna try clipping the one-chip challenge but there isn't really a way to do so outside of just clipping the full thing, which I wont bother its just Tay going through 30 minutes of suffering -- rocking back and forth, pacing in the room, doing breath exercises while drinking water and smoothie she had already prepared before the challenge, before going off to get a bowl of ice cream, which settled her down for a minute or two before the pain started boiling up again to the point she was just just staring vacantly at the camera reading chat silently for literally a minute or two. During this timeframe someone did a Marky Post TTS but she seems to have just been so disinterested that she just responded to it like it was just schizo babble with a quick 'What?!" before returning to just silently staring ahead reading chat, she then declared icky pukers, set some background music and the away banner and seems to have vomited it all back up. Its interesting that the chat, including Jimmy who was in it was vehemently against the entire idea and the chat kept pointing out that she got wrecked by the hot peppers during the show and kept vomiting for like a week. She was dismissive of this. Its nice she has a viewer base and friends like Jimmy that actively tries putting up guard rails, she seems to have felt that the chip challenge was just a funny little bit for laughs but those chips have literally killed people and caused severe GI damage for others.

She has played a lot of GTAIV it seems, but apparently was never aware of some sort of slingshot thing with swings so she tried it out at the advice of chat and got thrown up onto a building with the car she was in. Fate had a funny moment and decreed that she won't be getting away from the 1488 cringe reputation any time soon. :story:

On the 16th Shinji pitched a schedule that would imply about 4 nights and 8 hours of streaming a week.
