I kinda agree. Even when everyone was dogging on her I was thinking she kinda pulls it off, she manages maybe with her 'schtick' to kind of come off more as like weird music festival girl, kinda punk or burning man-edgy, rather than butch les or rad fem.

Tonight is the first time I've watched Tay's stream because she's reacting to day 1-7 recaps, and I've gotta say she is legitimately good at streaming. She's very engaged with the chat, donations and has already figured out to jew people with donation goals. Seems like she has the best shot out of all of the fish of maintaining successful streams after the hype dies out.

She is expressive in different ways with the bald look compared to when she has hair, its very uncanny, like her smiles are brighter bald, but her autistic expressions are more frequent, or perhaps more noticeable with the hair.


Her streams are always funny because of various gag characters being played, the dnalov guy isn't the real "qnanon" stalker from the 4chan thread, but a bunch of shitposters basically mocking his shtick. One of the donations from dnalov said something along the lines of "i'll be heading to Dallas next month to see you tay tay" and she quickly responded "thanks I'll be buying a gun next week." in a rather curt voice. Sadly she stopped responding to dnalov donations because she thinks its real but her rebuffs of him have been hilarious over the past few streams.

Tay having a pretty consistent stream schedule and a pretty chill mood is going to help her in the long run. Watching the Fishtank digest was a good idea for a stream, I saw at one point she had over 800 viewers. People want to engage with the Fish when they're actually doing something relevant to the program. I feel like Tay is the only one doing that and using the 'success' of the show to make money.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her return to Fishtank or do MDE content.

People want to engage with the Fish when they're actually doing something relevant to the program. I feel like Tay is the only one doing that and using the 'success' of the show to make money.

I believe the the first to do this was Trish on her first or second stream, she got a lot of donations from doing it as well, nearly $1300 last I checked, she just has been prevented from doing more because her computer to stream with was/is really slow to arrive. Tay said on her first stream with the computer that she was hesitant to make her streams revolve around fishtank stuff since she felt it would be cringe to linger on fishtank stuff for too long, but there is an acceptable time window where people want to get her opinions or hear the thought process behind some of the stuff that went down on the show.

She certainly has revealed a lot of "insider stuff" like Jimmy finding the golden beetle on Day 1 or 2 which is why she knew it existed but didn't believe it had been replaced in the house for them to find for the cash prize, or that she really was told to bend and hide the silverware by Sam but this wasn't on camera so the audience and even Ben thought she was just screwing up her mission because she was sleep deprived and had her stop fucking with the silverware before she hurt herself. Its somewhat hard to reconcile that the fish didn't exactly have the same birds-eye view the audience did so Tay's experience with Jimmy's doll activity was limited to her spazzing out when he woke her up by rummaging through her bags so she was interested in seeing Cole, Trish, and Brian roam around helping Jimmy during it as it was a new experience for her as well.

Production must hate the way S2 ended up with how little we've heard this long after the season ended. No retrospective from Sam or passing comments, Jet is barely posting and slowly tearing up carpet, Ben is off doing whatever, Josie and Vance know better than to have an opinion other than "It was cool, I had fun, I'll happily do it again (if the money is good)". Compared to S1 it feels like a ghost town right now

As for the fish I'm wondering if they're afraid they'll get hate for reacting to Fishtank stuff, but there's a whole 3-4 week period where they're allowed to talk about it before the shtick gets stale. They better bandwagon Tay's idea soon

I've definitely caught one or two slipping by but they were both jabs at the fish. One of them Sam was talking about how discussing your feelings at length is for women and that if you run your mouth "yapping? is that what they say, when you yap" you're entertaining yourself, not getting anything done. Sounded like a shot at Jimmy.
Then another shot at TJ: he was doing his "SHOULDERS BACK. HEAD UP. FIRM HANDSHAKE" bit talking about a hypothetical autist who wouldn't fit in in their office wearing a suit and stuff. Which he's done before, but he got kind of excited like he'd just remembered something and added a new descriptor for what kind of behavior the hypothetical unhireable autistic fan does: "hovering around me, expectantly." During S2 he actually took TJ aside and told him to stop hovering around when he's not a part of a conversation, because TJ was just fanboying and watching Sam talk. Definitely referencing TJ.

Austin Texas is slowly becoming the comedy capital of the world and is genuinely #2 in the states right now. Tai's better off working on his stagetime there and getting better at his craft. at least 3 of the clubs there are run by people that understand and care when people truely make the effort to get better at the craft.

Yep. Even Sylvia, who is also kinda dumb, I would say I care more about what she has to say because she's got a bit of good taste and her day-to-day is pretty unique and worth a little time to hear about, with her band practice and her touring and whatnot. It's not "I wanna hear about this twice a week" interesting but it's, hey, that's not like my life at all, tell me about it.

With Trish, it's, boobs which work at a deli. Boobs which boob boobily when you pay them money and get offended when you point out that they're boobing visibly.

Tay also has a rowdy crowd of shitposters for her audience that carried over from the fishtank TTS crew that make her streams lively, one of the reasons she was so well liked on the show is because of her responses to the shitposter over the top simps or over the top sexual harassment TTS. Ranging from just disgust or witty replies.

I think the danger for Tay's streams over the long haul is that these guys eventually move on and it becomes homogenized army of simps like Josie's streams so the chaotic element everyone loves is lost, I think the way she needs to operate is to continue curating the chaotic crowd much like Forsen did. Even from last stream she was still doing the thrust and parry from a 4chan shitposter 'dnalov' who does a parody of the qnanon simp guy from the /bant/ threads.

I think in an episodic format of the show viewers will never understand why Tay was so popular, the huge amount shitposters she dealt with via TTS in a funny way wont make the cut, and all of her audience interaction will be lost, which is where most people watching the live show ended up becoming fans. With Letty you could always see why she was well regarded since she is a funny flirt even during most of the competitions, with Tay you get the funny lounging around house persona which will be missing, and then the hyper focused challenge Tay that just wants to win the cash prizes. The challenge stuff is what makes the cut in an episodic format of the show and that is usually when she was at her most frustrated or humorless.
