  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I hope jet doesn't invite all his 'net friends over for season 2. Bringing in pre-established people isn't "revolutionizing culture" or whatever pretentious BS he was waffling on about a few weeks ago.

If they're really going to be running it over the holidays, they must have selected some really desperate fucking weirdos to sit in the Fishtank over Christmas and New Years. That intrigues me.

Well, they're already bringing Shoenice on, either as a contestant or a freeloader. I'm gonna guess that S2 will have the same fuckery.

Shoenice cancelled because of health issues with his pancreas.
 
So we were promised two new episodes today, but got no episodes instead? I like 75% expect Jet to simply say fuck it and randomly drop the last three episodes (really badly done, as per course) just to get it over with and focus on the next season.

He said earlier today that he was medically clear and was going on the show. Looking at it now, he deleted the tweet.

No extras for ep8 so far either, but not that extras have been too interesting anyways.

Still a good episode, its a real shame it took them so long to get it right.
 
 
The delay of episode 9 is still a mystery but here's Wes' full explanation for episode 8.

At most I can say, it would be better if fishtank did not have one website guy on a different time zone than everyone so he sleeps through peak hours, but I dunno.

Maybe they need a 5 alarm fire protocol where Jet can make Wes' phone ring any time of day in case shit really fucks up.

How could it have, she basically looked like a non-sentient animal most of the time. I can't think of a dumber way to phrase this, "why did Jet not put Josie doing nothing and being boring into the show during times something interesting and stupid was happening????"

and another line about "side adventures" which is for some reason a catchall term for "showering, eating, and maintaining basic homeostasis amongst a house full of people having adventures with individual names that people remember."

It's not going to be anything like that. It's a gag they have planned that most likely won't even make it past the first week or so after everything starts going wrong. Season 1 had similar things. The trailer is polished and planned out but season 2 production is going to be messy.

The trailer got me excited even though I really can't see how I'm supposed to watch while also participating in seasonal family activities. I guess it would be a good time to get COVID again.

DId anyone else notice the name on the resignation letter?
