Jet could just read this thread for season 1 lore.

There is a TV series here - like something they could actually sell outside of their own site (not Netflix or anything but license to a smaller service). Episode 3 showed this the most, maybe they could go back and fix 1/2 to include actual context and put the "bonus footage" in the actual show.
I don't think they have anything. The show was advertised as some kind of torture house where viewers have all the directing power. The end result was TTS getting filters to protect the fattest house member's feelings & an entire 24 hour break to account for the harrowing trauma of some guy saying weird things in a book nobody read. Jet doesn't have any skills nor did he develop any & Sam ran off with the bag. More than once the crew had to step in because unsurprisingly a bunch of normalfags aren't overly entertaining to watch for 24 hours.

Make it a paid, professional, fulltime job, because it is. I remember they asked for s1 loremasters to help contribute to season 1 editing. The reward? You'd be in the credits. No one like that is credited but you know he used replies, tweets, etc that he was given from that to help with the edit.

Seconding that the editing doesn't explain what's going on. There are some weirdos in a house, they do challenges, it's not important who wins the challenges, and they had a pedo (emphasized narrative) that they kicked off. Challenges include hard-hitting things like counting rice and cooking food while tied to someone.

the idea should have been to keep her and the bed guy as far away from the rest of the cast in the episodes as possible, make it almost a joke into itself. You can cut away to them in their rooms doing their own thing but make them almost like joke minor characters. Its a common and beloved trope, like when the rock in spongebob won the snail race or pud'n winning the go kart race in billy&mandy. Some minor character the audience didn't have the focus on winning the competition. Especially if its truely Letty's story it would be a great rugpull moment. she's suffering throughout while those two are just in their rooms the entire time. even lie in the edit and make it seem like they were in their rooms until the very end if you have to. Especially if you're going for comedy having the freeloaders ganging up on letty and cutting to Josie in her room alone with her pushies would be a great moment.
Oh God, yeah, that sounds fantastic.

Like what really blew my mind was they included Josie saying she wanted to reach her "full potential" and become more outspoken, but they cut around how Letty said she wanted to learn "resilience." I think they just had her saying some shit about how mankind is resilient. But becoming resilient was the huge thing for her - she started as Letty "I Caaaaaaaaaan't" Palmer and by the end of the show she was a 90lb girl with a health bar that came in 9 different colored layers.

If they were just trying to make The Amazing Race it would make sense to try and edit it in a balanced way, as though we don't know who the winner is, but given that's not an important part of the draw they might as well lean into it looking like a "fictional reality show" and disproportionately follow one POV for a while, or deliver a narrative that sounds very biased for comedic value.

I like how they briefly introduced how Simmons was wailing on that harmonica in 3 then closed it with Jon sad alone with their baby while he played it, You should have been building the harmonica bit in eps 1 and 2 you retards, it feels rushed to introduce and conclude it the same episode.

You can tell they're building Josie up, setting up Damiel vs Letty and focusing on Jon so his departure is impactful. Core "plot" points but stringing together episodes artistically doesn't seem to be on the mind, each episode is pretty self-contained.

I wish Jet would just release all the basement footage and let a fan edit be made, someone will do a better job for free eventually.

It would be nice.
I find it interesting that even the few independent video-projects covering the show seem to give up due to the scope of such a project and fumble lots of details, especially towards the later days. I am thinking of Jabroney and Rob's Media's videos on it, not sure anyone else made a good attempt.
The issue is increasingly that the public interest in a good representation of Season 1 is waning.

its a niche internet channel in the big scheme of things, the fact that you can and apparently most did just zoom in and follow their favorite "player" doesn't help the idea of ever having a quality legit good summary of such a show. But you can also say that about literally every big brother season or sports season. Unless you do the easy thing of just following the data (where you won't get the full or clear story) you can't really understand how these played out unless you were there enjoying the action. Its similar to politics or presidential primaries, no zoomer could possibly understand how huge the internet's hard-on for Ron Paul was or just how interesting the primaries have always been in American politics. And their best shot is some bias asshole who'd tell them a bias history,

a great example of that is Obama's senate run, people act like if it weren't for Mr.Ryan's divorce details being leaked Obama would have never won that race when Obama had a 15 point lead minimum in the polls and just in general illinois votes solid blue outside of two elections where the dems accidentally put up 1.a racist white dude and 2.a known terrorist sympathizer who called all white people racist and was under federal investigation and both of those were tight races.

I guarantee that it wouldn't matter who was given the footage there would always be someone who'd go "um thats not how it happened" and the details would be fumbled, anyone's best shot of a clear picture of the season would be reading every page of forums like this one (or 4plebs archives) to get the clearest picture and even then the people that are too stupid to understand Letty is the true and rightful winner of fishtank and deserves all our fishbucks would still complain about someone's video using those sources for not being accurate. Look how many people whine about that long Chris Chan doc, and he has an entire wiki and a forum to help him get a clear picture of what happened in near real time

If he wasn't being such a faggot about the Farms, he could easily pay an intern to comb through here and get multiple in-depth summaries of how the ACTUAL AUDIENCE perceives the show and the narratives being created.

Nah, instead he wants to be a faggot about people here giving him shit about his past (consisting of things he willingly made public) rather than use this place as an extremely efficient resource like many content creators do.

He'd rather deny Farmers as an audience completely, which is not just gay and retarded, but an extremely bad business decision.

There is an entire cottage industry (multiple discrete ones, in fact) on YouTube based around the information crowdsourced and centralized here.

Much like Sam, appreciation of the Farms is a guilty pleasure, a "dirty secret" for the mainstream. That is to say, it fits perfectly within the target audience for this show.

From a business perspective, Jet somehow seems to have the hubris to not just ignore, but completely reject, insanely valuable information.

Market research (from COMPETING internal segments even), compiled background info, multiple baseline templates for narrative creation, and even highlight clips of his product.

These are things any startup founder/executive team desperately seeks out in order to better serve their customers; and they usually have to pay a lot of money and/or invest a lot of time in order to get it. I would imagine for entertainment products, this is even more rare and difficult to accurately pinpoint.

He is going to torpedo a promising project because of ego.

Same times. Intentional? Sylvia announced her stream around 24h ago, Jon around 2h ago. Anyway Sylvia is obviously going to have way more viewers simply, because she doesn't demand people to donate to read their messages.

Also Jon's podcast isn't doing so good:

While it was premiering there were ~12 viewers.

How long until someone with enough autism does their own edit of fishtank S1? You definitely don't need HD footage to string together an interesting storyline. There are already a lot of youtube videos that were doing that as the show was airing.

Jon having a podcast makes zero sense. Jon's appeal was being a retarded person who you could laugh at. He has no deep insight or real commentary to provide. I don't want advice from someone with a 90 IQ.

New Josie merch drop. Spruce Team Six patches using fan art by Only1ne (Twitter) and production from MuralityDesigns (Twitter). I was late to the party but I think she started with 50 of each in the store. At $8 each she's probably making good returns.
Both Only1ne and MuralityDesigns are known fans since the show.

Velcro patches appear to be more popular though I'm not sure if that's because people prefer velcro or if it's because it's the default selection. Velcro is sold out at the time of this post with 16 iron on patches left.

Jon starts his stream about 30 minutes after Sylvia's.
Jon said in his last stream that he's forgiven everyone who wronged him over the last week and that there's no more beef or drama between him and anyone.
Sylvia started her stream today basically saying that isn't true and that she's never talking to Jon again. She said she set the stream time repeatedly but he kept changing to be when she was streaming. Also she says that he has been DMing other people about her and the screenshots have made their way to 4chan.

Currently she has twice as many viewers as he does and is burning a face onto a pumpkin while dressed as one of Corey Feldman's angels.

Jon is rambling about how everyone who had to deal with his retarded ass as a child wronged him, basically a full on Chris Chan speech about being kept with the low-functioning autists and pinned down by minimum wage retard wranglers.

Not how you thought post-tank would go, huh.
