Has anyone figured out how much they spent on hosting for the first season? Cause 1.25 mil in revenue is crazy but the fact they don't disclose the expenses would raise an alarm on trying to "invest" in a project like this.

Please reread what you've typed out because I got an aneurysm trying to understand what you've meant.
>I'm so surprised that an email list of fishtank viewers or other information of a sensitive nature gets leaked. I wouldn't be surprised of the lacking of competency of Sam's pet wiggers.
That would be my guess.

I'd give 100 bucks expecting to lose it all if it meant we got (at least) two more fishtanks tbh. I'm sure those willing to spend more would donate more for the same. It's only about the cost of one game with DLC these days. I'm still not going to because I could just buy a shirt or something instead.

Expecting to actually make a return is retarded though.

There is no guarantee that it will be good. I'll wait at least a week, or two, if it's worth it.

Agreed.

I can't edit it now, but @Blitzsneed got it. It was cut off because I went to search the thread to see if something had been leaked before this and I'd just continued typing. I blame my own competency level.

Fishtank season 1 was as captivating as it was pioneering. It had never been done before; it was nothing like a low rent Big Brother, with less interesting faggots and a 5/10 hapa emo girl. It was much, much gayer, with a lot more fat retard nudity.

It was groundbreaking; an excellent foundation to build upon, a sure bet for investors who can recognise originality when they see it!

I try not to use Kiwi Farms as a vehicle for advertisement, but in this case, I can't help myself; investing in Fishtank is a no-brainer. I've personally invested $1488, using my personal e-mail address. I implore my fellow kiwis to do the same.

Sam is pretty much blacklisted from mass media for the rest of his life. There's no chance he's getting institutional investors on board with any of his projects and I don't think advertisers are going to want to run ads on skits like "Worlds Next Best Daddy Dom" or "Dominican Domestic Abuse Police Robot". The only place his funding is gonna come from is his audience, either through gumroad subs, merch sales, or crowdfunding. It's been this way for almost a decade now so I don't see why people are taken by surprise by this new round of money collecting. At least this time theres a nonzero chance you get an ROI, although if you guys listened you'd be able to resell the camo Epstein shirts for at least $200 each on Grailed
I agree mostly with this sentiment, but with a major concession. As you said, the reason why he is crowdfunding is because he cannot get an in with any actual investors (crowdfunding can basically be used as a final option for getting seed money). However, I don't think its because of him being blacklisted from Hollywood. Investing, unlike the optics-based media, does not really have to walk on eggshells with who they are associated with. Most investors will not care whether or not Sam is a white supremacist, hell I'm convinced most investors will put stock into a Fourth Reich if they think it can turn a profit. The simple reason why Sam gets no big time investors (which is a fact he is probably hiding), is that they just don't see a Season 2 of Fishtank turning a profit. Sam now has to essentially rely on his galvanized paypigs who cannot see through his bullshit to shill for him.

I feel like it has to be said. This is a joke and not actually a vehicle for advertisements.

Even if Season 2 becomes a great success, it is dubious at best. There are more reliable places to put that money. The wiggers exude confidence but don't inspire it outside of the Hyde cult.

Fishtank reaches over $500k in funding
This is surprising to me. I guess it shouldn't be, given the number of idiots that fell for crypto scams.

Any investor should expect basic competency, transparency, and financial disclosures from the company in which they invest.

- Basic Competency: Fail. Wigger druggies can't tell CC from BCC and dox their supporters. No one gets fired and it's not addressed.
- Transparency: Fail. Investment of 500k from retards without so much as knowing the company officers.
- Disclosures: Fail. No one knows whether there are outstanding preferred shares, warrants, convertible notes, or other debt that could wipe them out in a "liquidity event". Not even a fucking term sheet.

I'm pretty sure they talked a bit about hosting costs when they got taken down, but that was skewed because they were unknowingly sending 10 live video feeds to every viewer so they were using 10 times the bandwidth they were supposed to be.

Sam milks his paypiggies like no one else. During fishtank Sam and the wigger crew kept repeating how grateful they are to have such dedicated fans while constantly spitting on anyone that wouldn't pay them. Sam sees the fans as replenishing money bags he can empty once in a while. And from what we know of S2 so far, he seems to be adapting the most predatory monetization schemes seen in F2P mobile games. Most notorious example being the in-game currency, packs of which are often a little short to afford what you want to make you pay for the bigger amount. Which will then leave you with almost enough to buy anything cool manipulating you into buying the minimum currency pack. I get wanting to get paid, but they're resorting to such shady tactics to milk the fans that it's just repulsing.

Sadly S2 will probably be a nightmare for a free viewer and every restream from a season pass account is gonna get DMCA'd. I can already see them introducing stuff like paypiggy only hours where they cut off access for free viewers, restricting even more cameras than before, limiting resolution and in general artificially making it an unenjoyable experience to force people to pay. It will only be getting worse and worse in terms of predatory monetization. They will introduce as much as they can get away with.

Don't forget to buy Mongoloid Megabits NFT's!

To some degree I expect the WarToys to make it worse for the Whales Whaling in Clans than it is for simple free viewers.
They attempted to restrict even reading chat in S1 and its not something they stuck with for more than a few days. I think they have established what the free experience is and its not going to differ from how it was at the end of S1.

I don't think the majority of the people putting money into this are doing it because they think they're being real "investors" and are treating it more like a donation because they like fishtank and/or Sam. Don't know why people are getting their panties twisted over this, I doubt many people really think they're gonna make a serious return at some point. You can point out how it sounds like a scam saying you could make a return in the future but I think people are more interested in what the money would actually be used for, which at minimum is improving the production value of fishtank. And it really should not be surprising to you if you watched fishtank and saw how much money people would pay in one hour spamming TTS just to call a contestant fat or a pisswitch or whatever

Yeah I was curious if they ended up fixing that problem and brought the hosting costs from 10k a day to something reasonable. They'd still have made a profit from the revenue but I was curious of many expenses there were.

From Jet's IG

It's animated but I couldn't be bothered to record it. I guess this is what the episodes open with? I'm not sure if it's ugly because they asked for it to be ugly or if Sylvia is just kinda ugly in any style.

Jet has a message for the contestants of Season 1:

Maybe it's appropriate once again to review how everyone is doing, capitalizing off the show.

Jon
For some reason Jon waited until late September to really start pushing. I think he simply lacked the media skills to stream or post videos without help. He was assuredly getting requests to collab with people, for months, probably more than Josie even because he's an opinionated conservative guy and an easy mark, but he was probably just not reading them or not properly acquainted with anyone who was trying to talk to him, or too married to the idea of charging everyone $500 when he was only really worth that much while the show was live.
In the last two weeks or so though, he's definitely got something going. I think either he slowed down just enough that people were able to reach him, or the right kinds of guys managed to puncture his autistic shield and subjugate him enough to make him send them footage to edit. I just think he needs to go back to YouTube and stop streaming on Kick because he has followers waiting to watch him on YouTube.

Vance
I think goal #1 for Vance was to put his album out right after the show, and he said he was expecting to win enough from the show to get him a way of recording his drums or else put him in touch with someone who loan him a place to record, and that hasn't happened. He said he would switch to releasing it all with synthesized drums instead but hasn't done that either. Considering music is what he *does* besides deliver weed or whatever, that's a pretty big L.
Upside: it would be natural if his streams just became less popular over time and eventually hit rock bottom, instead they have begun steady out thanks mostly due to the prank calls. Which means they could be sustainable, which is a kinda big deal? If he can keep the quality up, with the documentary coming out he might plateau again but at a higher average viewership.

Josie
Hard to say...
1696709150018.png

I expect a big hop with the documentary but she's not plateauing like Vance above, and streaming is all she has. If her only appeal is parasocial and there's no replacement rate as the entire parasocial bond formed during a reality show that's over, it could be bad news.

Sylvia
Finished her album, did her tour, has merch. Not being antagonized by her chat anymore. She has no future on YouTube but her music was her goal and she did it.
She also mentioned she's seeing somebody in Ohio now, so she has that going for her.

Letty
The biggest disappointment, but she still has World Peace 2 coming down the pipe and she's guaranteed to get some recognition for it that cast members like Vance, Sylvia, and Mauro won't be getting for their appearance.
1696709969470.png

So in a way she has a double-hit of the documentary and World Peace 2 to capitalize on, if she wants to use it get into acting or something and she doesn't have the willpower to be self-directed. But people don't change.

Damiel
Did a stand-up set at Skankfest, people seemed to like it. He's just riding on the guys now though so it's hard to distinguish success-via-capitalizing-on-Fishtank and success-because-Sam-gave-it-to-you.
Pretty sure he's still not paying rent to Chris Lynch though.

Mauro
lol

Simmons
Can I do this unironically?
He got the Chime ad. I don't think he used his Fishtank credentials to do it. He must still be using Craigslist casting calls for money. He's not in jail, or dead. He was on Prank Panel so there's now going to be two game shows where the hosts abruptly kick him out of the set, creatively independent from one another. LA isn't known for running pedos out of town so if he spins it correctly he now has a very consistent resume. If I was forced via a magical curse to be Simmons and try to live a successful life instead of killing myself on the spot, I'd go to other game shows and YouTubers and shit and offer to be revolting and cringe and get kicked off the set in return for money.

lol, fucking FishCon, they really are ambitious. It will probably work too.

I think all the Fish will have at least some bump from the Episodes releasing, especially from people who haven't kept up with the fish antics like obsessed maniacs (i.e. me). I think its going to be a pretty consistent multiplier to their current viewership across the board. The only real oddity is Letty, if she comes back and starts streaming soon she could get a lot going on, maybe even become a real rival to Josie's current popularity.
