From the stream, seems Chris/airsoftfatty will be returning for season 2 as a contestant/chef/freeloader. I'm sure that's going to ruffle some feathers. I still think he's a good candidate for the show if the point is to have a hell house.

Feel like the show had a lot of problems, but especially the bit where it seemed like most of the contestants were striving to be liked by tts by focusing on whoever it seemed focused on. Ended up with people simping for Josie and that seeming to result in others on the show being reluctant to mess with her.

Seemed to really get to some people like Vance who didn't know how to act when the spotlight was on them. I haven't watched much reality television, but they usually seem like they'd do challenges and immunities to encourage alliances/friendships between contestants, whereas Jet and the production didn't seem to put a ton of effort into anything like that.

They ended up left with a bunch of people wanting to act like bumps on a log while Letty was about the only one wanting to actually do stuff to win.

Hopefully they do better about this next season so it doesn't just feel like a weird twitch stream.

Wonder how well Chris will get along with kingcobrajfs?

This is my new favorite Fish Tank compilation

(Song name is Glue by P.H.F.)

Why did the wigger flush the rubber snake in the first place?

I thought they made it up as an excuse to shut down one of the bathrooms before making the confessional and to blame it on one of the fish for lulz. Why on earth would anyone intentionally flush that thing?!
Trying to be weird and do random stuff he thought up at the time?

They need to do better about planning out the show and bits he can do (plus backup bits).

Personally I probably would've wanted to put up some fake walls to have the place seem a bit smaller at first and give Sam something he could bust through Kool Aid man style. Or maybe stuff made of breakaway glass for him to smash up.

During the Fish Tank Live recap stream with Josie and Letty, Letty confirms she knew of Sam and had watched Dr. Manslave (her favorite) and World peace. Says she was a fan from 2016-2017. She also says Vance and Sylvia were the biggest MDE fans in the house. Josie says she was shown some MDE videos when she was a teenager. So what I'm taking away from this is the only people not unaware of who Sam was Simmons, Mauro and probably Jon. The three dumbest people in the house btw

Someone mentioned earlier that Sam liked the idea of training Josie to fight Anisa.

I don't think I/Anisa would fight anyone remotely connected to Sam.

If he wants to train someone to fight I/Anisa he would be smart to use a fake name and have a partner as well. The partner could be featured in promotional material where seeing Sam would be a dead giveaway.

After the fight has taken place Sam could do the big reveal and share the footage of himself involved in the training process for maximum seethe.

Sounds gayops but I think that's the ticket for Sam if he wants to get one under the radar on the Jomhas.

Josie was shown MDE by her friend early in high school but didn't remember them or Sam within the context of Fishtank. She only recognized Jet and didn't know who Sam was or that he was Jason Goldstriker for the longest time. During the finale when Sam turns to Josie and asks "Do you know who Sam Hyde is?" she replied "I do now."

Some of my own insights from the stream:
- The Portapotty and camping bit was because the plumbing got fucked. Maybe that was more apparently to those following it more closely, but I found it interesting and was a good cover on the show's part.

-When talking about profitability, Sam both says they could up the prize($10k starting was because they weren't sure they could make enough to offer more) earlier, but later when directly asked, he refused to answer but heavily implied it was not. I'm guessing he's telling the truth and that after all the costs the show didn't make a lot of money, but a huge chunk of that was mistakes from them learning, and that he thinks they can do season 2 a lot cheaper.

I don't know if Mauro was really dumb. He seemed the most socially adjusted, he just couldn't take any shit.
Of all the characters, he seemed to be in it for the Big Brother vibes, I think he might have been an interesting fish for his social dynamic with the other fish, unfortunately he was a bitch and left as soon as shit got real.

What? I'm going to be honest, my takeaway from the non-answer was that the actual answer is probably that the show was profitable, probably by a lot.

vance said he's gonna livestream friday
Thanks. That'll be good to put on when I'm trying to sleep.

Those footages look like a major terror plot taking place. I can't wait for "austere religious artist" Samil Haid to be arrested.

Yeah, I was saying it in Sneedchat but I think Mauro was an ideal foil for some moments and it's kind of a shame he was too much of a bitch to be a part of them. Most of the fish just sat back and took it when they got wrapped up in a bit, it would have been something to see Mauro go, "no, Josie doesn't have a drinking problem, leave her the fuck alone!" or throw Ben's stories in his face and just no-sell all the gaslighting. I think he would have been eliminated early on for sure but it would have made the producers and fish craft more believable premises before lying to each other.

His response was "you guys should buy more fish toys." Even if he's not being truthful, his implication was that it was not very profitable to a loss. Considering the first week he burned at least $30k in his bank account before they shut off his streaming services(plus whatever was on the bill when they disconnected it), I can totally see this project running up a lot of unexpected costs that they could of been mitigated.

Josie respectfully requests that you watch this video of today's stream highlights to help boost her channel watch time.

Alex Stein had Sam and Jet on his show. Josie diligently at work in the background.

  • Chris was initially expected to be there for a few days max
  • The crew enjoyed Chris and his madness a lot
  • Chris allegedly does not smell terrible
  • Chris was not brought on to spite idubbbz according to Sam
  • When they started, Jet thought 3 guys doing 8 hour shifts each would be enough.
    • He realized quickly they'd need 3 guys there 24/7
  • Ben got trenchfoot in the basement

Replace "a lot of money" with "as much as he wanted" and I agree with the analysis.

I'm glad y'all enjoyed it. For me, it reminded me way too much of how sketchy afterparties get when the sun's up and no one's really slept but for some reason everyone's still hanging out. This thread is more interesting to me than the show.
