Thinking more about this, I think this is actually a sign that they are getting hit with more chargebacks now. They could be removing features from the free experience to try and discourage more people from pulling the ripcord.

Yes, they are right in principle, I'm not contesting that, I'm saying the way they're doing it is reason enough to crack some jokes. A person can be entitled about something but still be completely in the right in principle.

I'm not explicitly making excuses for him, what I'm saying is if you're familiar with Sam you should be wise enough to view giving him any kind of business as sketchy at best, or a gamble. I like the guys content, but he's a fuckin' lunatic and I'm well aware of how he conducts himself and his business, like hell I'd trust him with my money. If you're willing to fork over a decent sum of change to him, you should also be able to handle getting some mockery when/if it goes bust.
 
I actually am a little worried about Jon. Not drinking water the day before (or now?), drinking coffee all day, then drinking too much alcohol for someone who never drinks... he needs more than just water now, he really needs electrolytes. In my line of work, with the amount of puking he's been doing and not drinking any fluids, we would have already been instructed to call 911/take him to the ER for an iv drip.

I’d have liked to see him crying about what a retard he is too, but even if they were done milking him they aren’t going to just give the dude a noose and leave him alone. We had already got a Jon meltdown over the baby, so it’s not like we had no Jontent last night. I’m going to at least wait a bit to see if they continue to extract gold from the little wetawd.
 
Them nuking the chat kind of makes the site itself useless. Sure, the site is where you get to freely control the cameras, but people will just go to a re-stream if they can't have the chat. Shit's not gonna help their bottom line at all.

It's definitely deliberate though. When inspected the entire chat's body has been replaced by a "Chat_no-chat" component.

I wonder if they've concerned just delivering on the content they promised to begin with, I have a feeling that will be slightly more profitable and foster more good will with your customers than tightening the reins on free features.

You need a stricter standard when you're running a show like this. This isn't drinking with a buddy. This is taking on a duty of care. If something were to have happened to Jon (which was always unlikely but by no means impossible), they could face massive civil and potentially criminal liability. If a fish requests to go to the hospital, you've basically got to take them, and then your show is tainted with the brush of "a contestant had to be hospitalized." Local or state authorities could shut them down and that's the end of the show.

We knew Jon was in a state of mild dehydration and we knew he had bad reactions to alcohol. However bad this has been, it could easily have been worse. They should have taken more anticipatory steps and gotten hydration set up before letting him drink alcohol. To do it reactively after he pukes and moans for hours live on air is ridiculously risky and slipshod execution.
 
Jet's showing Jon the Andrew Tate tweet that was posted earlier about how he's feeling sick and only drinking coffee and water.

Jet: "Top G's going through it too. What a coincidence, so just stay strong brother."

What's funny is Jet said he didn't want to break the integrity of the show right before he did exactly that. Jet and Sam gassing up their pet retard, while sweet, will kill the show. Mark my words.

He doesn't really have advertising, so I think most of it comes down to him wanting people on the site so that they're tempted to buy lootboxes and shit
