but the topic was christianity. would have been a lot smarter to specify she believes in a god rather than the God, but i guess she doesn't have a reputation for being the sharpest tool in the shed.
what she said made sense in context, at least to me. to paraphrase, it basically went: "are you religious?" "not really, i believe in god but i'm not religious. the bible has some sick quotes though"

i.e. she's reading the bible with jon and finds it interesting/compelling, and believes in some sort of higher order in a monotheistic god, but is not necessarily sold on christianity in particular. not sure why you're trying so hard to make that sound dumb.

it sounded to me very much like she believes in the christian God, primarily because they were talking about the bible first and foremost. i didn't really hear anything that might have cued to her being moreso vaguely spiritual, though it would certainly be up her alley personality-wise.

He got stun locked by the IG post for a second there.

if she was reading quran verses, god in the context would clearly mean allah. get what i mean?

yes, because she was reading from the bible. christianity is clearly the focal point of the conversation.
Your argument is weird man, nothing personal but I disagree with you

you didn't hear anything that "might have cued to her being morseo vaguely spiritual," except her explicitly saying that she is not religious?

"i believe in god but i'm not, like, religious" - lettuce

what an unbelievably retarded stance to take.
Common worldview. I knew a girl who said she was a 'strict atheist' but believed in reincarnation and soul mates. Quite insulting to those Nietzsche and David Hume types (I was one myself for a time) who are at least honest about the conclusions they come to.

90% of Living Spirituality is usually 'how I feel' the world should be but without wishing of offending anyone or taken on a different lifestyle from the mainstream.
