Makes sense. Damniel is an instigator, he’s been called to the basement twice and constantly stirs shit. Vance is pretty stoic but he’s shown sign of gaslighting when talking with Jon and the fish last night. Sylvia is fucking fat and annoying. And Josie is pure evil incarnate, she just hasn’t shown it yet. Meanwhile Mauro is pretty wholesome. Simmons is a troon but isn’t really harmful outside of that. Letty is a victim of revenge porn. And Jon is arguably the most golden hearted out of the group, albeit autistic.
 
Real Vance hours recap. This was last night on the "Day 5" YouTube stream.

The scene described here is almost immediately after a timewarp to the living room, so some context might be missing. Jon, Vance, Silvya and Violetta crowd around the kitchen island as the lights are a gaudy blue and red. The blue lights are flashing. Violetta is looking at her notebook, Vance fidgets with a red ball.

Jon mentions Vance calling out someone, this refers to the moment at around 5:48:00 on this stream where Vance looks up from his chair at the Kitchen camera and says "My boot's gonna meet your lip, Lyle!"

Jon: That uh... dude that you called out?
Vance: Lyle Forever? *points at Kitchen camera menacingly*
Jon: Yeah. What did he say?
Vance: Someone that I called told me that like, he said he's gonna try to get me kicked off the show once they get the TTS back up.
Jon: *looks up at Kitchen camera* Yo, Lyle Forever is gonna get his ass kicked by him.
Vance: Oh yeah, I'll do a more formal callout maybe on the working hours or something.

Jon then makes a valid question: "Did he actually steal your..." the rest is unintelligible to me because Sylvia is doing a mocking impression of Lyle loudly over him. Jon says "hold up, what were you saying?"
Vance talks about "motivational lizard," an old video he made when he was 15 which went viral many years after being uploaded. There's beef between him and Lyle, who allegedly used the "motivational lizard" concept to make what Vance calls "therapy lizard." Vance says "He is a failed comedian that has no good ideas. His best idea is something that a fifteen-year-old came up with."



This is the pinned comment on this video. It's Vance alerting his viewers that Lyle stole this idea from him and challenging him to a boxing match. He squabbles with people in the replies.

I've seen this guy all over YouTube Shorts and TikTok. His character's actual name is "therapy gecko." Did anyone catch if Vance did do "a more formal callout"? Vance said he talked to someone in the brief moments the fish got their phones back who warned him of Lyle trying to ruin him through TTS. I wonder what'll happen when TTS comes back on.

Extra Vance lore: He claims that Ethan Klein's videos criticizing pranktube were also his idea. Vance's brothers are 27 and 23, he is 25.

The reason the polls are lopsided is most likely because Josie is easily the most favorite and is on team evil. I’m really excited to see some conflict finally developing. No matter who you hate or like you have to admit this stuff is awesome.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm going to be laughing like a son of a bitch whenever they inevitably get fucked with, and I do think that getting fucked with can teach a valuable lesson in and of itself. I just hope they actually learn something at the end of this. I don't think any of them are past the point-of-no-return when it comes to lolcowdom. That being said, I doubt any of them will actually grow as people.

jon's been getting mogged pretty hard all day and the downstairs team has 2 crowd favorites. it's really not much of an equal fight.
 
It’s funny how psychology always rears its head. Last night was the send off party before the cast formed groups and turned against each other. Given enough time it happens without fail.

Maybe if you’re a Damniel fan. But the vast majority of people watching this show are team Josie. Damn is pretty one dimensional imo. He’s great for comedy and conflict, other than that he doesn’t bring much to the table. He was arguing with Jon earlier and it literally devolved into Damn making related noises in response to Jon. I want conflict that causes genuine resentment, not elementary school level insults.
