sam hyde has one of the most annoying fandom/hatedom rivalries i have ever seen, they are both incredibly autistic and only seems to be driving sam further into his madness slippery slope.
he definitely has problems , as i said earlier in the thread and its intentionally really hard to tell wich part of him is trolling/kayfabe or legit mental illness. I think the best evidence of this, better than any autistic infograph is how bizarrely his appearence has decayed since he started his comedy career, he looks 50 in his mid 30s.
But i think we all can agree that now and then he strikes gold, this has happened 3 times so far: the TED talk incident, World Peace and now fish tank.

As a Hyde hayder, the problem with Sam is twofold: He's overwhelmingly abrasive and his fans worship the ground he walks on. World Peace was not gold imo, it was a hectic array of mediocre sketches with some very good ones scattered throughout. I'll give you the Ted talk and I'll say his Candyman appearance where he said he'd kill Hasan are both hilarious though. Fistank had its moments, but it seems to be burning down.

A majority of people don't find abrasive people entertaining, or at least to the level Hyde brings. Meanwhile, a majority of the people who do enjoy abrasive people are, themselves, abrasive. So you have a group of people who find abrasiveness irritating vs a professional provoker and his fan base of wannabe provocateurs. As the provocateurs double down on their Hyde love, the haters double down on their hate, but the evidence they provide of Sam being cringe is seen as based by them and vice verse.

It's a never ending forum war of one group of people yelling endless examples of why Sam sucks vs another group of people with a list of why Sam is based. Meanwhile, it's the same list. Also, Sam get's off on this, exact argument which only makes the haters angrier and the fanboys donate more BTC.
