  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

As a woman, I’d rather do porn than go on fishtank (porn has more dignity and I hate porn) lol
The fishtank audience is horrifying. Just existing as a female fishtank fan was endless constant sexual harassment/stalkers (as I have discussed before). I can see why many women wouldn’t go on the show, they can only get the lowliest clout chasing hoes. It sucks because they have had some cool female fishtank contestants.

I think there are two major problems for "normal" women to apply that don't necessarily correlate with what's on the show itself:

1. Jets behavior: Every person who isn't completely retarded will do a bit of Google research. I think Jets behavior would be a lot more excusable for some people, if he would have only ever had "relations" with fangirls as opposed to contestants. That makes it way harder to "separate the art from the artist". Even for people who don't care about the morality aspect, it might imply that you have to fuck Jet to win. I think we can all agree that this is not an appealing trajectory.

2. The fan base after the show: The tiniest bit of research will show you that you won't become a famous content creator by being on fishtank and it might actually ruin other opportunities.
Especially Tays whole stalker thing will turn off lots of women. I'm honestly impressed how Josie who had a pretty weird fan base that defeneatly crossed the line to being creepy, managed to foster a community that seems to be less insane than the regular fishtank audience. I don't think everyone would be able to handle that.

I think women are okay with being humiliated, as long as there is a feasible reason to endure it, but being on fishtank has no incentive whatsoever. After everything that has happened, I could imagine every somewhat conventionally attractive women that does well on FT, will be accused by at least some strand of the fandom, of having fucked Jet. Why would you want to do that to yourself? (IMO that's worse than having your hair cut off)

I did really like the concept of bitchtank (even though I'm a Haley hater for life :) ), but looking back, it's really obvious that a lot of it sucked because Jet fucked several of the contestants. It becomes really obvious on a rewatch...

I am and I didnt sadly. I put like no thought into my audition and just talked about the first thing that came into my head. I think I might upload it eventually with just audio for laughs if I don't get on.

I'm sure I'd have a laugh, but you really, really shouldn't post it here. There is a potential of you being super cringe and we already had a thread regular eating literal shit on stream stars this year. I'm not sure how many times I can tell myself that not everyone is like this. The KF thread and chat is the only viable FTL fandom, so please stop breaking my heart*sigh*

Frank was removed and blocked from Burt's phone, but Burt decided to call him and talk it all out on stream. Frank asked Burt about being sued for driving accidents, Burt didn't deny anything just said it was irrelevant. Apparently he hit people while drunk driving? This may be the infamous 2011 incident after which he stopped drinking.

Burt's tech guy is the one setting his titles and doing most of the tech stuff. He's got access to everything, even has remote access to Burt's PC which is why sometimes you can see the mouse move on its own when Burt is AFK. Burt is actually retarded and has people do everything for him.

Frank bullied Burt into sending him 500 dollars to call him and apologize. they will now be streaming again after Burt spent the entire stream raging at Frank. Burt does not seem happy about it.
