It's too easy to look past Mauro, Simmons, and Damiel when it's been over a year since s1. I have to agree that the final 4 of s1 was incomparably better than the final 4 of s2 but they had the same proportion of total dead weight. They just had too many B tier guys at the last half where I would only put Sylvia as a B tier of the final 4 last time and even then she was a good agitator for better fish (kind of similar to Haley now.)

I always wanna say Cole would have been good in a final 2 against Brian or whatever but he's rewriting history for sure. He had nine whole days to find more than one person he was willing to be nice to. The whole first week was a battle between Brian and Cole to make a faction and at every turn Cole was sneering at people and doing his "mean" bit instead of spending any energy being endearing to people. Imagine if for half the times he hid someone's crap or "pranked" someone he just sat down with another fish alone and said "so I haven't talked to you one on one before, how are you doing..."


Even now he's throwing Jimmy under the bus again after that team-up they did against Q where Jimmy was hyping him up and flattering him. I know Cole has admitted his inability to relate to other people is real and just part of him but save the wah wah it was me against everyone shit then. Nobody forced him to not learn people's names or to act like a jerk after everyone stopped pretending to be plants. He could've started over. Hi I'm Cole. I like the same stuff you like. All that bully stuff was a bit because I thought you guys were not fans. How are you. What are you like.

Cole's victim complex is insane. Easily the most sensitive person to have ever been on the show including Mauro because Mauro came back not only once but twice. I think he needs to just move on and forget about the show for his own mental health. It's clearly not helping him.
