I can't imagine Sam is going to have have TJ on the stream like he had Josie and Letty. TJ would just ummm and ahhh for an hour and it would be brutal. It would also put a dent in the whole TJ is changed man arc. Seeing him just stumble on stream would remind people that he hasn't made some great change. The only people I could see being on the stream with Sam is Shinji or maybe Trish. I wouldn't be surprised in Tay just took her money and went home. She probably wouldn't want to be around the same production people who were shit to her on the show or be around a gross weirdo like Frank.

My gut feeling is Sam and Jet just want to tie up the lose ends of season 2 and wash their hands of it and start working on the next thing.
I wonder if they’re not talking about the show yet because they’re worried about stuff like the Summer drama. They might just be keeping they’re heads down so that all of the drama cools down. If they try to avoid Fishtank for awhile I don’t think it would work out for them. If Sam tried to do a regular stream playing Fallout he’s just going to get inundated with questions about Fishtank.

Cole was never going to win but they did a terrible job of trying to keep him. Only when a TTS mentioning Noble 6 from Halo Reach resonated with Cole did Jet try to hone in on that and give him some Halo to play to keep him around. They had set him up to be the bad guy and he brought in a lot of money via TTS, he was a fan favorite. This is after losing JC, Summer and Meg by week 1. Yeah they're gonna coddle the current cash cow. Jet was also bullying him via TTS, hiding behind his keyboard down in the basement.
Production really shouldn't pick favorites or take sides in beefs barring somebody being a weirdo like Simmons or Jimmy. The idea of the crew themselves sending TTS is fucking weird and gay, and makes the whole thing staged.
I feel the only way to make change in Chris's life is you would have to send him to one of those camps in Utah were every aspect of his life was controlled for 12 months.
The only way Chris could lose all that fat and start to resemble a normal human being is by fasting for a year like Angus Barbieri. I'd be legitimately interested in a Fishtank spin-off that's just about morbidly obese people water fasting for 6 weeks, accompanied by check ups and such. I've fasted for up to three days before and the mental clarity and energy it gives is amazing, and I started craving sweets and alcohol far less even after refeeding.

I don't think he wanted to be kicked off, he already almost left on his own but was told to wait on Sam and during that wanted to stay again. I don't think Sam was lying, I think Jet lied to Sam like he did throughout the season. Ben kicked him off on cam and Cole said in one of his streams that when he went to the basement he initially was ready to go but tried to get them to keep him and they wouldn't have it.
Cole fears the thought of him being a lolcow. That's why he sperged out after he figured out that the production is planning to turn him into Jon 2.0. You can get him off the internet by making his own KF thread.

A clear lie Cole made up to save face. Fishtank had already lost 3 fish in something like a week and a half before Cole left. Production and Sam liked Cole and desperately wanted him to stay. The show had already lost 1/3 of it's cast. They had no real reason to force him off. Cole left on his own or purposely antagonized production into making him leave.

What reason does Sam have to lie about him leaving voluntarily? Why would he even bother making that tweet?

The thing is, the stuff Jet would send wasn't even amusing or worth doing, he would just call Tay a dyke over and over as if she hadn't dealt with 5 weeks of it by that point and that there wasn't some far better material as far as TTS insults and digs at her went. She had fully embraced the toxic nature of the TTS and would just laugh along with it.

Obviously there is a lot of recency bias here but the only time I can remember Tay getting agitated or irritated with negative TTS was during her encounter with TJ over the stolen chips on the final day and it wasn't actually directed at her.

Saw this poll on the fishtank subreddit and found the results interesting. In a poll of 1300 people (a decent size considering the peak viewership was about 10k) 854 voted that season 2 was better than season 1. Just 249 people thought it was worse. I thought season 2 was very enjoyable but let's be real it was a step down from season 1. I'm interested in what you guys have to say about this.

S1 by a lot.
"This is not some scripted reality show" -Jet S1

S2 had better audio, still not great, these Wiggers are too cheap to pay an acoustics engineer, retards.
8 fish was better than 10. (these Wiggers have been talking about filling S3 with 20 fish)
All the forced story arc stuff was horrible.
How often it happened that something interesting was naturally developing between the fish, and production came up and ruined it to force some lame bit that went nowhere.
And Fishchat said, "Jet it up."

Season 1 gave the fish challenges and allowed them to have genuine personal interactions, not lame forced scripted garbage.

We'll never know and I'm biased but I believe that Jet wanted Cole gone and was tired of playing with him. When Sam asked about it, Jet told Sam what he wanted to hear, as he does. I'm not aware of anything Cole has said about the show that seems like a lie.

I happened to record Cole's ramblings and checked the chat to get some Jet TTS.

Semi sidenote: Jet may have made the initial Noble 6 reference since he's a Halo fan himself. I thought someone else did, either way it leads to Jet bringing up the xbox. I'll concede it's a Jet W if he is who started the Noble 6 thing with this. It's a pain to sift through chat as it was moving very fast at the time.

Because giving Chris money and resources while he overeats and continues his weed addiction is reinforcing and enabling behavior that makes him a fat depressed retard. If Sam truly wanted to help him, he would offer Chris an incentive system for losing weight and cardio. He has a pattern of pitying himself for things that he has control over- yet he makes it seem like he doesn't like many death fats. He has control over his eating, he has control over working out, and he has control over quitting weed. Even if fatty didn't agree to it prior to the show- having a fatty intervention on S3 would be a great way to separate Sam from Idubbz, by showing some sort of transformation in Chris. To enhance production value, this could be done Biggest Loser style with a massive scale, dietician, and workout schedule.
Chris would've been homeless had they not organized a gofundme and given him housing during S1, can you really class that as enabling?

Cole hasn't lied about anything else so I don't see why he would start now, he said Ben told him to go, we saw Ben tell him to go, what else needs saying?

1. They said they wanted him back, but whoops the phone number that Cole was given is now disconnected, or Cole is blocked, also coincidentally none of them contacted Cole

2. They replaced him in the contestants tab (whether or not you believe that really was a technical limitation is up to you)

3. They banned his name in the TTS.

4. None of the crew follow Cole on insta like they do with all the other fish

They obviously removed him over some violation and want nothing to do with him, like Betty and Summer

Production gave him an Xbox because they were so scared of him leaving. You want to talk about coddling? That's coddling.
I think the Xbox thing is misunderstood a lot. Cole was already convinced to stay by Noble 6 references through TTS. Context is very important here. Cole was starting to be disliked by other fish due to his lack of filter and well off family background. Production, most likely Sam, saw opportunity in this to make it a rich kid Cole vs the poors narrative. The introduction of the Xbox was done I think as a way to further push that narrative and it worked very well. The other fish immediately began discussing how to steal or break the Xbox from him, and grew even more resentful.

If anything it was a detriment to Cole staying as it further isolated him from the other fish. At the time Cole’s biggest issue was that he had a lack of allies, and he was very clear about this when talking to Sam and the cameras. Maybe it seemed like Cole was being coddled in a vacuum, but in my opinion he was being relied upon far too often by production for content, and that resulted in him burning out and getting frustrated. That’s not unique to Cole either, it’s a fundamental problem with Fishtank. Fish who aren’t content drivers aren’t developed until content droughts occur, and content drivers are continuously pushed to their limits.

As for his rich vs the poors arc I see its development as no different than Letty’s villain arc, except Letty’s arc was given time to grow. Letty was never an evil person or a villain, but the other fish did have issues with her mostly associating with Jon, who was enemy number one at the time. Production noticed this and assisted with making that plot line into something bigger. Cole was never a villain, but the other fish had issues with his lack of filter. Production noticed this and assisted in developing that plot line into something bigger. I see no issues with production assisting with a plot, it’s when they create one from scratch that’s a problem. Compare this to something lik TJ’s artificial arc, where he was constantly hand held and told what to do by production.
Production and Sam liked Cole and desperately wanted him to stay. The show had already lost 1/3 of its cast. They had no real reason to force him off. Cole left on his own or purposely antagonized production into making him leave.
This is a lose lose for production. While there’s no clear evidence to say for certain if Cole quit or if he was eliminated I don’t think it really matters here. Best case scenario for production is that Cole quit, but if this is the case some of the blame would still fall on production for pushing another content driver past their limit like they always do. If production had no reason to force him off and desperately wanted him to stay then the idea that they would send a member of production upstairs to tell Cole to pack his stuff and that his replacement was coming is ridiculous. You don’t encourage fish to leave, ever. It’s not good financially and it makes production seem incompetent. Production even acknowledged this fuck up by tweeting out they wanted him back.

Worst case scenario is that Cole was indeed eliminated and production either tried backtracking in order to get him back, or like @Aidan said Jet lied to Sam and told him that Cole quit. Jet wasn’t exactly a big fan of Cole, and as we all know he’s very disconnected from what fans truly want to see.

I can't wait to see Brian as a crew member in season 3. Who's with me? :)
If they bring him on any projects, it's confirmed that Sam is effectively running a wigger 'n frens charity jobs program. I'm not aware of anything Brian has to offer which is probably part of why he has no job to begin with.

I am Documenting the neptunian hero arc of TJ.
Wip list of all the notable things TJ did in chronological order.

He was part of the very first conspiracy to get someone out of the house started by Brian, against Tay.

Production made TJ go through Tay's bag which lead to the underwear saga.

He was such a boring character skulking in the background that production told him to dance every time La Bambo plays.

TJ joined the mean girls against Tay, lead by Trish, it also had Taylor as a member.

Taylor made TJ fall for her, with production telling them what to do, forced and gay story arc.

The attic session where Automaton TJ got told to wear shoes and he did. This is when the gay and forced TJ improvement arc really kicked off.

Shortly after Jet kept telling TJ he got this and he can win this.

Taylor left and TJ was sad and got coddled

TJ cut his hair during the Cell challenge.

He was the first to walk out of the Cell.

Next notable thing was TJ renewing his alliance with Trish's mean girl club which now had Brittany as a new member

Judge made TJ wear the silly hat and TJ rang the bell and got punched. They allowed him to stop wearing the hat.

Shinji stole everything from the other team with the help of Trish, while TJ and Dunyee slept, TJ decided to not give Dunyee any money because Dunyee just slept, but he gave himself 1000 and Shinji and Trish got 1500 each.

TJ got 106 on his IQ test.

TJ did pass his autism test, barley.

Jet tells Tai, Dunyee, Tay, Trish and Brittany to fuck with Jimmy, leading to the hammering and is getting kicked out. TJ says he is glad Jimmy is gone.

Jimmy comes back brings up Lubecooch and TJ is on edge, they fight TJ gets bullied during the match, Jimmy gets tired and quits the show. TJ cries.

Frank asked TJ if he was Lubecooch he denied it an TTS kept repeating it's confirmed that it's not him. (I wonder how many of those TTS were production? Please let me know if you have the information)

in group therapy TJ got asked if he was Lubecooch he said no. Tay and Dunyee tell him he isn't defending himself against the allegations and looks guilty. Tay confronts TJ about being part of the mean girls against Tay club, he denies it with the same "not true" as the Lubecooch allegations.

TJ keeps claiming Tay stabbed him in the back.

Frank terrorizes Tay, TJ jumps on the opportunity and rings the bell.

TJ boxes Tay and wins, beating up a skeletal women, very epic.

TJ attic session Judge explains to TJ that he is on the forced and gay arc to becoming a man.

TJ doesn't want to throw water at Greg because he thinks Greg is retarded.

The art monologue about the painting with the two women with their tits out happens.

Production tells Trish and Tay to target Fatty and TJ to be his bodyguard.

TJ cries about rib pain, gets to go to the doctor and enjoy a day outside with pizza, turns out it was just a little bruise.

Shinji considers leaving, when TJ comforts him he stutters about Sinji being a good guy and he shouldn't leave because he likes him and he would rather loose to him than Tay.

I think I am already missing some stuff.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When in the timeline did TJ say Tay was his friend and she denied him?

When was the horse fucker message that made TJ go to the basement?

I don't know why you would hate on this, obviously its pragmatic to bring in people you trust and know their personality well. Josie and Vance were under stress for 40 days in S1 and never cracked plus its known they are good on camera so they could be trusted to go on into the tank and interact with the fish without fucking up. They like Brian because he was a last minute addition to the cast and dropped everything at a moments notice to fly out and be on the show because one of the selected cast members had some issues crop up, when they eliminated him he didn't hold a grudge or talk shit, he is a stable and reasonable individual who doesn't seem to have some sort of serious drug addiction or massive personality flaw or ego like some of the other Sam orbiters. If I were Jet and I needed any two individuals from Season 2 to bring into support staff it would be Brian and Tayleigh as they're the most mentally stable of the roster.

Not addicted to drugs and can work in a stressful environment isn't that high of a bar. At the same time, you can drink, smoke, and probably get high "on the clock." Maybe don't rely on Sam orbiters for everything?

Thinking about it, it is an odd list of requirements.
  • Self control to be sober as needed
  • Can handle stressful/shitty environment for 6+ weeks
  • Comfortable on camera
  • Comfortable demeaning/bullying others or at least being company to such
  • Comfortable around smoked tobacco, alcohol and some set of drugs
  • Comfortable around a weird cast of characters
  • Trustworthy to not talk about behind the scenes business, some of which is illegal
  • Production experience preferred but not necessary. Will be trained as needed.
That said, consistently using the show as crew tryouts is weird to me, it's not like Vance or Josie offered much fan service. I suppose what you're saying is Brian, a fan working a shitty job, was willing to drop everything (his shitty job) to go work on a show ran by people he's a fan of and a chance to win some decent money and maybe even an opportunity to work with the showrunners later. He's somewhat vetted as far as trustworthiness and what he's comfortable with.
