ive come to the realization that you guys (myself included) are negative nancies.

jet it the fuck up
We’re a gossip site. We’re here to bitch, moan, complain, etc. But at the end of the day Fishtank is becoming a holiday for internet retards. I’d be a fool to deny I won’t be in here next season repeating the cycle.

Ending was better than I expected as it managed to give a somewhat satisfying conclusion while remaining "fair" (TJ would have gotten a lot more leniency in what would have gotten him eliminated) but I still think some sort of thoroughly planned ending like season one would have been better.
Anyways, how long until Season 3 and any thoughts on whether Sam will actually do a comedy sketch with Shinji?
Depends on pay and how much Sinjis wanting to be the butt of the joke probably.

You know what, this has been such a shit show, I kinda wonder if they roofied Shinji in the eating challenge(Not literally Rohybinol, but like a bunch of benedryl or just THC vape juice) to ringer it for TJ.

As much as I disliked a lot about this show, I still had a lot of fun on this thread. Even the times when I was neg rated or there were disagreements, I had fun. I look forward to sperging and bitching with you guys next time in S3 :)

I'm finally freeeeee! Time to go be unproductive somewhere else.
Same I really enjoyed posting with you guys aside from @aromatic who is genuinely retarded and needs to stop posting

jesus christ what an embarassment

but hey, it had its moments, and this thread is about 1000000 times better than xitter or 4(cp)han's thread. it was fun idiots. now after wasting my whole day sitting through that disaster, its time to get back to my life. see ya idiots in a half year.

Jet is a disappointment, not just to his father, but to the entire world
I only learned the true extent about Jet's father last week and felt kind of shitty for dogging on him. Now, after giving us this shit ending after both earning $1 million in revenue last season PLUS the fundraiser PLUS the hiked up prices on the site, I wish this kid's father would roll up to Providence and pull a Marvin Gaye on him.

Okay, not really, but fucking come on, bro. Sam needs to separate his work/art and his need to be a father to retarded, extremely online fags.

TJ: Has a bruised rib. Has gotten his ass kicked multiple times throughout the season. Hilariously uncoordinated.
Shinji: Is the only fish with any kind of formal martial arts training. Did the best at boxing out of all the fish.
Retards: "REEEEEEEE the wiggers clearly rigged this in favor of TJ!"

I think I've just been grumpy for the past week of Fishtank but the ending sucked to me. Skipping over Frank in the curtain call (of sorts) was funny.

Maybe I have rose-tinted glasses but I don't feel like the highs of season 2 surpassed season 1's and its lows, which drug out for hours or days, were abysmal. When season 1 ended and everyone walked out the back door I thought, "Huh... now what?" and was kinda sad it was over. With season 2 I've counted the days for 2 weeks and was wanting them to hurry things along but didn't want to tune out since I was curious how they'd attempt to salvage this season and how it'd compare to season 1's save by Sam. Well they never really saved it and it was a boring day. I feel bad for Tay but honestly don't care that she lost, she was deliberately screwed over by production as far as I'm concerned. Brian showed up because Jet liked him and that's literally the only reason he's there which is a great reflection of what Jet is all about.

A terrible season that I think is more representative of what Fishtank is and will be than season 1 where they got incredibly lucky on top of having an incredible cast. I'll probably just pop in here and there for season 3 but can't see myself caring all too much anymore.

This season wasn't as good overall as season 1, but it was close in my opinion. People forget that there were just as many complaints about production being retarded and the show being boring during season 1 as there were this time. I think expectations being high resulted in a negative perception, when things were overall very similar. There was a LOT of production fucking up, but that might just be unavoidable given who is running the show and how little training they have. The sequel is never as good, and to be honest, I knew deep down that it could never match season 1, but I'm still glad I watched. The final boxing match was kino. I wish we could have gotten something similar to the very kino ending of season 1 where they all went outside and you could hear them talking in the distance, but Judge ending it early because he was worried about Shinji is understandable. I hope he's ok.

This is the only show I get this invested in. I haven't even watched another TV show in several years. It's very flawed, and very frustrating, but Fishtank still entertains me in a way other media doesn't. I'm glad I was able to sperg about it with you all again. This really is the only good place to talk about the show.

I'll see you all for season 3. You might deny it now, but I know we'll all be watching.

I personally feel that most potential of season two was lost from having a cast composed of MDE fans. Their personalities mostly seemed fake to me and it's why Shinji, despite being an average person was so beloved by the audience because atleast he was a real person who didn't appeal try to appeal to the MDE audience

edit: I think the production outdid themselves compared to season one but season two was worse simply because of the contestants
